It's a wrap! The last day of a 30-day event project—what a ride it was. Today we have the last event of the EAT Spain Drink Spain Campaign 2024, where I was the Event Specialist, Consultant, and Community Lead for over 30 events in a one-month period. Definitely a ride to remember, with so much learning, so many things that went well, and many things that we can do even better. I just love working with people and on event projects that focus on culture and heritage. Thank you for the opportunity. We can move away from our home countries, but the bond to our cultures is so strong that when you recreate it in another country like Singapore, it is so heartwarming. Culture and food bring people together. I am off to Manila tomorrow to showcase my culture through Hungarian dances—what a great way to relax after this huge project! An other week is about to start and before you jump into it here are 3 tips for you to rock your Profession , Passion and Compassion projects this week. Many of you know I love to manage long term projects to challenge and improve my creativity, problem solving skills and persistence. So far the longest projects I have managed: 6 weeks 220 hours virtual live streaming conference with 220 speakers for the Global Empowerment Hub 30 days in person brand activation campaigns with 34 in person events for the Eat Spain Drink Spain 2024 Campaign in Singapore Here are 3 tips for you if you are planning similar experiences and if you are a Work life integration advocate like me. TIP NR 1: PROFESSION ITS OK TO CHOOSE YOUR PROJECTS If you are in the service industry, you can not stop being curious , and enthusiastic about the projects you take on. Yes money is important, but to avoid burnout, we need to prioritize our boundaries and align our profession and our projects with our values and our boundaries. TIP NR 2: PASSION MAKE SURE TO INTEGRATE YOUR PASSION INTO THE DAILY GRIND The passion and love for what you do will help you to carry on long term, 30 days seem short from the outside, but believe me you will have the roller caster of emotions within the 30 days , and if you cant integrate your passion as an extra driver , you might not be able to finish your projects successfully. TIP NR 3: COMPASSION FIND OUT WHAT DRIVES YOU AND USE IT TO GIVE BACK What truly drives us humans , is so personal, as I am an emphat my driver is helping and supporting others, money is not what keeps me going. If you find out what is driving you, you can channel that into a compassion project to elevate others. This way you have created a double drive and self led accountability. The other side of me is one third of me: Passion ➡️Dance has always been part of me. It's in everything I do: I use it as inspiration as event specialist, facilitator and creative leader and of course it is also playing an important part in my personal life. ➡️Dance for me is the way to connect with myself and others. My Love language. Soon, I'll fly to Manila to showcase and teach some of the basics of traditional Hungarian dances to a small audience. This is my first time I am flying abroad for an invitation like this. I'm excited to share my culture through dance.And I am thankful for the opportunity. ➡️These dances tell stories of my background, my roots, my heritage. They show traditions from long ago that we keep and treasure. The dress I wear is 20 years old handmade in my hometown. I was dancing in it for the first time 20 years ago and I keep dancing in it till I can. ➡️Dance keeps shaping my path and I let it. I GO WITH THE FLOW. This event in Manila brings together what I care about: sharing cultural experiences, moving, and connecting people through event experiences.
