🌈 The Diverse Heat Network aims to foster industry peer collaboration on best inclusion and diversity practices in the Heat Network sector. With the aim of building bridges and sharing knowledge with similar networks, Annalisa Guidolin, our very own DHN champion, is shedding light on the Building Equality, an alliance of construction consultants, engineers, developers, contractors, and institutions who are passionate about driving LGBTQ+ inclusion in the construction, engineering and built environment industry.
🎙 Annalisa had the pleasure of interviewing Katie-Elouise Shepherd🌈 (she/her), who is part of the Building Equality National Executive Committee and Chair of Sheffield City Region. In the interview, Katie discusses her involvement with Building Equality and the transformative work being done to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion in the construction, engineering, and built environment sectors. She shares insights into the creation of resources aimed at supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues and highlights the importance of cultivating an industry that welcomes all identities.
