2Pong UK For more information on 2Pong see below 👇 Many people wonder why they should play 2 Pong over the traditional game of Table Tennis. For starters, 2 Pong is NOT Table Tennis. Although we are similar to this game in terms of playing surface and ball, 2 Pong has a few distinguishing features that differentiate it from Table Tennis. First off, 2 Pong uses two paddles instead of one and those paddles are worn on a player's hands like gloves. This allows players to shape shots with their own body. In 2 Pong, the server must make a serve on each hand. This means that if the server's first serve came from their right hand, the second serve must come from the left and vice-versa. Lastly, one of the biggest differences is the 2 Pong net rule. In 2 Pong, if the ball makes contact with the net (on serve or during a rally) and lands on the opposing player's side, the receiving player can decide to let the ball bounce once or twice on their side before making a return. Unlike Table Tennis, a 2 Pong player does not have the extension that a Table Tennis paddle provides. Therefore, a second bounce is provided to extend rallies. Hopefully, this clears up some confusion for new players. One thing to remember is that 2 Pong is NOT Table Tennis. 2 Pong and Table Tennis are two different sports, just like the relationship between Pickleball and Tennis. #2Pong #JointheFun #GetActive

Here's what happens when you and your friends are bored on a Sunday afternoon. We recently came up with a cool twist on Table Tennis by combining two tables to make one long one—and it totally changes the game! 🏓 📝We stick to the usual rules but with a few simple changes: - The serve has to land directly on the other side, unlike regular table tennis where the service bounces on each court. For doubles, the serve must go diagonally. - The ball can’t bounce twice on the other side, this discourages sneaky drop shots on a long table. - If you lose a point while serving, the opponent serves. You don't get to serve twice or five times like regular table tennis. In doubles, the score decides who serves next (even = right, odd = left). 💨The longer table makes it faster and more intense, with bigger swings and some crazy shots. It’s super easy to pick up even if you’re new to the game, and we’ve been having a lot of fun! Got any fun ideas for new rules? I’d love to hear them!

Table tennis at the highest level can be considered an "infinite game" for several reasons: - No specific end point: In table tennis, the goal is not only to win a specific match but also to continuously improve, develop skills, and maintain competitiveness at the highest level. - No time limit: While each match has a specific duration, a table tennis athlete's career is not limited by a certain time frame. They can continue to play and compete for many years. - Continuous development: Table tennis requires constant development in technique, tactics, and physicality. Athletes are always looking to push their limits and those of their opponents. - Continuity and no stopping point: Table tennis players do not just play to win each match but also to maintain and develop the game. They do not stop after each failure but continue striving for higher achievements. These factors make table tennis not just a sport but also an infinite game, where the goal is not only to win but also to progress and develop endlessly.
