We need knowledgeable and engaging speakers for our state convention April 19, 2024, in Orlando. We’re looking for journalists and media professionals, as well as professors and industry friends and advocates. Topics can cover anything journalism or media related, including writing, shooting, editing, podcasting, interviewing, photography, marketing, graphic design, movie making, or diversity in storytelling/the newsroom. Basically, if you think a middle or high school student on their school’s journalism staff needs to hear it, we would love to have you. Last year we had more than 1,300 participants from the panhandle to the keys, and this year we're on track to be even larger. Our student journalists are passionate and desire to improve their skills. They will leave inspired by you, and you will leave excited for the future of the industry you care deeply for.
