In the good old days, AIRLINES actually cared about their CUSTOMERS and would speak to you face to face at the airport. Now they hide from their negligence and flight delays by giving you a cheap apology via text and all airline reps abandon their desks and tell you to reschedule via the app or phone (if you can endure being on eternal hold until someone answers it). UNITED AIRLINES informed all their employees about the flight delay because none were at the departure gate at 5pm. UNITED however did not inform passengers about the flight delay until 4:10pm. The alleged excuse for the delay, inclement weather in Houston, was not verified in the weather report, but works nicely for UNITED to enable them to avoid paying for passengers' hotels due to their negligence causing flight delays and cancellations. Avoid UNITED AIRLINES whenever possible if alternative options exist.
Upon calling United Airlines at 4:30pm about an earlier flight to Denver (beyond my 5pm flight pushed back to 8pm), the rep in the Philippines asked me if I could catch the 3:45pm flight. Clearly, she was unaware of the time in Florida. Next she asked me if I could fly from Tampa (as if Orlando and Tampa were right next door).

Landed back at Birmingham Airport yesterday, and it was an absolute shambles.
Three flights had landed quite close together, and there must have been about 1,000 people trying to get through 5 passport control desks.
FIVE!
The queue was enormous. It was stretching out of building. I've never seen anything like it.
What I can't understand is why there are no toilets there. We weren't allowed to use the toilet for the last 30mins of the flight while we landed, then we get stuck in this queue for over an hour without access to a toilet.
There were babies screaming for their food (which was in their luggage on the other side of passport control at baggage reclaim), there were kids crying because they were desperate for the toilet, there were people (like me) with anxiety disorders who were on the verge of panic attacks, the whole situation was a mess.
And to make matters worse, one of the Border Control Agents steps off his desk to have a chat with the Queue Marshall about some cute kid who he's just let through. I thought there was going to be a riot at that point.
Yes I know that the staff don't make the rules, and the vast majority were friendly and helpful. And I know that they are only following process. But that sort of situation is not acceptable.
We hadn't travelled abroad for 7.5yrs until this last week, so is this really the norm now at UK Airports?!
What's the cause? Brexit? Staffing issues? Something else?

I’m back with another not-so-fun adventure in the friendly skies.
During our recent boarding experience, the flight attendant, amidst the chaos of overhead compartment Tetris, told my wife to wait a minute. Seems routine, right? Well, not quite.
As my wife turned around and repeated it to me, it turns out the flight attendant took offense and unleashed a tirade about airline protocols and the “system.”
"Don't raise your voice at me!" echoed through the cabin, accompanied by threats of removal due to our “attitude.”
My first instinct was to grab my phone and start filming because no one had raised their voice. All my wife did was repeat her instructions to the people behind her.
I don’t know what she went through or what happened that morning and I can’t imagine what she was thinking.
Flight attendants are there to help people and make things more pleasant. Maybe she could have asked to clarify or have a conversation but I decided that it was pointless to engage.
Escalating the situation pre-takeoff seemed counterproductive, and after landing we chose to ignore her biting goodbye.
While my wife and I chose to rise above the negativity, you can rest assured, that Jet Blue message center heard all about it.
We had boarded the plane in high spirits after a pleasant upgrade, and this disgruntled flight attendant was the last thing we expected.
Flight attendants, if you're having a rough day, maybe consider taking the day off.

Good Morning,
I am writing to address the allegations of unruly behavior mentioned in the letter. At what specific point was I considered unruly?
The flight attendants were aware that I was never rude when requesting assistance. Would I have asked for help if I intended to be rude?
At what point was Francisca Igboa accused of being physical? Why and when did this occur, and what led to a Manager of Flair Airlines being so close to physical interference with me?
My behavior, which included crying and expressing a desire to go home due to exasperation and depression, was labeled as unruly. Are we not allowed to express emotions when feeling oppressed by positions and air carriers?
I stand against the unfair treatment, lack of empathy, and the situation that caused me to waste money. This incident was handled in a manner that seemed more like a cinematic situation, with staff on duty filming the events and recording, am definitely sure proofs are available to note 📝 how rude, if I ever was.
Again in line with Flair Airlines and the executives which made to be aware of the situationship , it would trigger more if swept and made to look simple, again in light to my position, I don't expect Pity or a turning point , it's the perception to protect business and investment and understable that Money comes first .
