Why is this a surprise, we live in a world with global information thrown at us from all corners of the world through devices we hold in our hands. Building a world where everything is done remotely or by remote. Those children are being brought into a world where using this technology will make the difference between success and failure. Maybe the education system needs to change and catch up.

The worry is that we are getting dumber and dumber. Covid was a needless catalyst, but I think its screens and soft parenting.
