As a woman it triggers all the past traumas and assaults that we experienced in our past...my whole social media feed is flooded with the recent incident that happened in RG Kar medical college... If a woman is not safe in her workplace...that too a hospital..that too a government hospital. I don't know where we will be safe.. And all we are asking is for justice... A justice to set an example that if you do wrong you will be punished...but what we get from our beloved Chief minister ( The only lady chief minister of the country) is offering money to the family... The gruesome details of the incident is spine chilling...we don't know how much pain she endured during her last minutes of her death... Are we asking for too much ?? seems like workplace safety is luxury for woman.... Are we not allowed to live life...are we not allowed to work normally.. can't we have ambitions... It breaks my heart reading so many women getting trauma and thinking where we are heading as a country....as a nation..as a society.. When people in power use their power suppressing things like this for their own benefits...it makes us think which is more powerful...power or truth ?? Justice delayed is justice denied...our safety is now only in our own hands...and remember that if you are safe today you are lucky... because we never know who is next. #safety #workplace #justice
