Through an in-class Rakhi-making activity, TIS Early Years learners appreciated the significance of the traditional Indian festival of Rakshabandhan and the bond between brothers and sisters. The activity encouraged the learners to be creative. This year the youngest learner from Grade 1 and the Principal, Ms. Charu Johar hoisted the tricolour flag to commemorate our nation's Independence Day. Ms Johar also recited inspiring patriotic poems for the learners to mark the day. The Infinity School learners of Gr I upwards, celebrated the spirit of freedom with Prabhat Pheri - the school's tradition of a procession of students around the school, singing patriotic songs that filled our hearts with pride for our nation. Early Years learners of The Infinity School marked India’s Independence Day with a special assembly and many activities. The assembly started with prayer followed by children dancing to patriotic music, a quiz on the national symbols of India, and the national anthem. Dressed in white, green, saffron and blue, our learners celebrated the spirit of independence with multiple activities like a tricolour sandwich-making activity, movie time, and group dances with their peers that emphasized the significance of 15th August to the young minds. #lndependenceday #expression #LearningToLearn #freedom #TheInfinitySchool

At The Infinity School's Investiture Ceremony, the elected representatives for the School Captain and House Captains from both the Junior and Senior Schools were sworn in today. The parents of the council members were also invited to witness the ceremony. The Student Council is one of the leadership opportunities provided by the school, allowing students to work alongside teachers and lead various initiatives. As part of Diversity Month in July, TIS learners of Grades 3-5 explored diversity with various in-class activities, discussions, and formal presentations on what makes them or their families unique or different through Show & Tell. Learners of Gr 4 & 5 also presented speeches and Doha on the concepts of diversity.
