Empowering new mothers and young women at a local level is the KEY!!
“Gender equality is the best chance that we have to combat the most pressing challenges of our time,” shared Michelle Yeoh. Women have the resources and willpower to make an impact on the world—each and every day. That’s why The Female Quotient exists and it’s why we showed up to #Davos again this year to keep doing this crucial work. 💪

💃🏽Dr. Lisa | Reframing equity and authority through a gifted woman’s lens. The Curvy Hustle® Sacred Success Path supports women into healthy leadership, relationships or enterprise design using a science + spirit mix.
I disagree. Women have a lot of equal opportunity. Yes. It is not 50/50 yet but guess what, research shows that you only need about 13-15% improvement to cause a shift. Feminism has done that. We hold a lot more power yet we still struggle in the assets to barter with , hire well and protect us. Equal opportunity with barriers that make use of that access harder is not going to improve if men keep being focused on where we are instead of what we own and can use for power! Money, real estate, land, resources, politcal position, corporate ownership and media control gets the laws moving. In my mind it is Gender equity that we need most in order to push to close the gender gaps.

A new day and soon a new government with 40% women MPs and hopefully more women in the cabinet 🥳 Whilst we celebrate this milestone at The Partnership Colllective we must not be complacent. We must keep the pressure on ➡️ Prioritise the green transition and economy ➡️ Prioritise just and equitable policies especially on big business and finance ➡️ Invest in public services ➡️ Prioritise equality and equity for all people ➡️ Be a leading soft power on the international stage calling for end of conflicts, increasing humanitarian aid and climate action #change #politics #Labour
A historic milestone for women, with all signs pointing towards more than 40% women MPs - that’s 260 (the most ever) women in parliament! So many women over so many years have worked for this, and we are beyond delighted that we've reached this new achievement for women's representation. This is a huge victory for all of us who have pushed for fair and equal representation. At the Fawcett Society, we will continue to champion equality and ensure every woman’s voice is heard in Parliament and beyond. Let's keep pushing for full equality! 💪 #FawcettSociety #GeneralElection #Equality

In a transformative move, Rachel Reeves has become the first female Chancellor in the UK! 🇬🇧 This historic milestone and a record number of women MPs elected marks significant progress towards true gender equality in British politics. While we celebrate this hard-won victory, it also serves as a reminder that there is still work to be done. Women's representation at the highest levels of government can continue to grow, ensuring diverse perspectives and experiences shape the policies that impact us all. https://bit.ly/4dEPfwv As a society, let's reflect on how we can further elevate women leaders, dismantle systemic barriers, and pave the way for the next generation of female politicians to thrive! #GenderEquality #WomenInPolitics #MAKERS #MAKERSWomen
