Quick heads up - We've opened up a few slots for new recruiting projects for Philippines-based bookkeeping/accounting staff. I expect our capacity to fill up quickly after the April tax deadline, when firms have time to think about hiring again. So, if you're thinking about hiring in the next 2-5 months, now would be an ideal time to get started. The timeline to hire is: - 30 days to source and hire (depending on requirements) - 30 days resignation notice (depending on current employer) Do you think you'll need to hire in the next few months? Reminder - we have zero ongoing fees. We're paid to deliver a great candidate to you. You hire him or her - and never pay a middleman, ever. Our price for that is a flat, one time payment of $4,000. And if it doesn't work out, within 6 months, we'll find you a great replacement. PS. What do you think of my graphic design skills? I should never touch Canva again, should I?

Stop hiring US employees to run your back office Hire from the Philippines instead: • No payroll taxes, health insurance, or 401k • No unemployment or workers’ comp • No need for physical office space • $32k+ cheaper per year We have 12 full-time employees in the Philippines Most people wrongly think that virtual employees can only do entry-level tasks The truth is you can hire for almost every role We've hired for: • Controller • IT Support • Social Media • Payroll & Admin • Outbound Sales • Accounts Payable • Executive Assistant • General Accountants How do we make sure they’re fully focused on us & not working two jobs at once? We don’t We set expectations & focus on results As long as they perform I don’t care how they manage their time

And you know why you probably still can’t hire the best accounting talent in the PH despite having access to them directly? Because they’re the best! Smart accountants know that beyond the obvious reasons, there are other factors to consider when evaluating employment opportunities. I won’t delve into the numbers, because undeniably, net pay is really higher when you go that route. But smart accountants understand that beyond this, there are other important factors to take into account. For instance, holidays and paid time off. If a PH staff member is hired directly, they will most likely be considered an independent contractor, meaning they will probably be paid only for the hours they work. This typically means no PH holidays or even fewer paid time off days, if any at all. Another crucial factor is health insurance (HMO). No matter how much you pay for personal HMO coverage, it's nearly impossible to match the level of benefits and coverage you'd receive through a corporate account. And ah, my favorite among all these factors: ✨peace of mind ✨. Being employed by a PH corporation means the PH government has your back. I love knowing that I can sleep soundly without worrying whether my client will pay me for the services I've rendered, or if I will still have my job the next day, as my employer cannot just fire me without a just and reasonable cause. Just sharing my personal thoughts on this from Bangkok, where we had our team-building activity for an offshore team of a US-based accounting firm 😉
You can't hire the best accounting talent through an outsourcing company (BPO). Surprised? It's true. But how can this be? Well, all it takes is a little empathy. Put yourself in their shoes. Imagine a version of yourself in The Philippines - talented, driven, and working hard to build your accounting career. You know the opportunities and benefits of working with an overseas firm. So why on earth would you ever sign up with an outsourcing company? Give them half your salary (or more), add middle management between you and the firm... for what? Interesting question, right? Well, the answer is, you wouldn't! In the same way that you want to develop your firm's culture and build direct relationships with your staff... ...they want the same with you! That's why you can only get mid-level talent (at best) when you hire through "an outsourcing company." So how do you get the absolute best talent in the Philippines? Easy. Hire them directly.
