The behaviors and choices of all actors in the construction supply chain have an influence on environmental impacts, but we need to understand when and how. The education, evaluation and diligent application of assumptions, considerations, comparisons, and methodologies have both short and long-term impacts and effects to the sustainable future we aspire to achieve. Our mind set should be premised and aligned with a full life cycle view of the planning, design, manufacturing, operation, and end of life.
