De-risking sales | GTM strategy | Coached 100+ YC founders and sales teams to their first $1M ARR and Series A | 2 exits
Someone pinch me! I am beyond excited to announce that I will be co-hosting an event during NYC Tech Week! A book is only good if the author knows what they’re writing about. The same is true of speaking. And If engaging in something for over 10,000 hours makes you a master, then I have become a master in two things: startups and sales. Joined by Karen Chi who spent 15+ years leading gtm in monster companies like LinkedIn and Cameo, we are thrilled to bring together a panel of early stage founders to discuss everyone’s favorite topics: - Finding PMF - Scaling B2B Sales responsibly Our panelists Raghav Poddar and Nick Ornitz, who I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with, are YC founders that have successfully made the jump from founder-led selling, growing their sales teams, and having the traction that companies of their stage dream of. We are so thankful they will be sharing their learnings with us and answering questions. Big thanks to our sponsor Vensure Employer Solutions and specifically Jack Isaf for facilitating everything. Last but not least, big thanks to Reuschal who is a joy to work with, and WeWork who will be hosting us. Post discussion, we will open this up to networking and light bites and drinks. If you are a founder of operator, this event will answer all your top questions around gtm and scale - excited to see you all there! (sign up link in comments) #NYTechWeek #earlystartups #pmf #gtm

I need help. My friends need help. We're growing a startup! It's a massive and, at times, lonely adventure. But - with the help of #techstars, we're making serious progress. You may recall that Inquisio.AI joined the Techstars Seattle 2023 fall cohort. As part of the cohort, and now... TechStars universe, we are participating in a virtual event called “Connect our Companies.” In "Connect our Companies," attendees help startups like mine and the other great companies in my cohort by connecting us to our ideal customer profiles. That's where you come in. ✅ You might be the glue that makes a startup thrive. ✅ You might be instrumental in changing an entire industry just from hearing about the extraordinary work everyone is doing and thinking if it sounds like someone in your life might be able to assist. ✅ You might make a network connection you never realized would change lives. But... only if you join us. Will you join us virtually - on December 6th at 12 pm PST on Zoom Help startups like mine make critical connections to potential customers. Link below and in the comments.

Thanks Vertex for having me, it was great meeting so many of you last week. Key takeaways: 1. Capital efficiency: I am a big believer in only raising what is needed to get to the next milestone. There are obvious founder dilution benefits but equally important: "scarcity breeds clarity" and capital efficiency is so critical in today's environment. SEA founders are notoriously frugal which is great from a runway perspective. 2. Don't leave help on the table: companies like Google have a myriad of programs and resources to help startups. Make sure you make the most of them! (and please do reach out if you want to know more...) 3. SEA outlook: there are clear challenges right now, fewer deals, drop in seed activity... However, there is a reason to be optimistic: Southeast Asia's economy is showing resilience and growth, stronger and stronger talent pool, the fundamentals are strong and so is the long term potential of the region's startup ecosystem. I left the event excited and inspired, and as Joseph Phua said, "envious of all the founders starting their journey now". I hope we can be a part of it!
It’s a wrap! Thank you all so much for joining our last 2023 in-person event at our office last week - [From First $1m in funding to First $1m in MRR]. We had the pleasure of hearing from our esteemed speakers on how to navigate to the first million in revenue: - Joseph Phua (cofounder and chairman of 17LIVE Inc., VVSEAI’s portfolio that just went public last week!) - Our Partner Puiyan LEUNG - Clément Parazon, Head of VC and Startup Partnerships, Southeast Asia from Google It was a pleasure to meet over 115 entrepreneurs and we hope you have a fruitful time of learning and connecting. We thank Google, Vertex Holdings and Technopreneur Circle for their partnership and support. Here’s a short highlight video of the evening 👇 -See you at our future events - Sign up for our newsletter at https://lnkd.in/guXBDCAr #CoCreatingChampions #VC #venturecapital #founders #events

"As a startup, we have very ambitious growth goals. You have to push with everything that you’ve got inside of you to #acceler8 the company forward. I was very green when I first joined Darwinbox, and quite young, but the leaders gave me a chance to prove myself, and I got to do some amazing things." "I remember relatively early in my journey here, before we had established ourselves in Southeast Asia, we were working hard on breaking into the region. Now, it is always unsettling and uncomfortable moving into a new geo, and that too from scratch—both as a company, and as an individual. And we were doing it at a time when not many companies had cracked how to enter Southeast Asia, so we didn’t have much to work off of." "But we pushed, we learned, and we got a foothold in the region. Two years later, we were sharing with other Indian SaaS founders how to do it. In two years, I went from knowing nothing about business in the region to being able to show business leaders how to do it. My journey was accelerated just as much as Darwinbox’s. And now we’re touching so many lives across APAC and continue to grow in the geo. And as for myself, now today I find myself doing the same thing again, this time in the US." - Anirudh Daral, Sales | Acceler8 #Darwinbox #8toInfinity

I teach B2B founders how to close more enterprise deals faster using The Launch Code 🚀 Generated $2 billion in B2B revenue in my 30-year career📣 Speak about B2B sales & entrepreneurship
TechChill reminded me of why I love attending startup conferences. You see, I meet 95% of my clients and partners online. Extremely efficient, but not very personal. Two days of intense engagement on the ground opened up new ideas, opportunities and inspiration. ✔️ I met incredible founders building amazing startups, in search of guidance. ✔️ I listened to experts share valuable insights I can apply to my business. ✔️ I chatted with investors and journalists who shared ideas that made me think. I left Riga feeling a bit tired, but super energized! 💪🚀 Special thanks to Julija (JJ) Jegorova for helping me share my B2B sales tips with tech founders from the stage. You were awesome! And thanks to the entrepreneurs and ecosystem players below who reminded me of why I love what I do. 🙏 Some amazing conversations with...Martins Bratuskins, Liisi Aavik, Goda Go, Jarna Hyvönen, Tania Ladanova🇺🇦, Riin Lisett Rei, Kate McGinn, Tom McGinn, Andris Merkulovs, Denis V. and Dan Tyre. _______________ PS. I offered TechChill attendees free access to my value proposition training from the stage. 25 founders signed up within five minutes. Wondering why? 👇 Check out the link below. #b2bsales #techfounders #techchill2024

It's no secret that it's been a very complicated month for Tel Aviv startups, and the 2023 "wartime CEO" mindset has just turned into actual.. war time. I believe that we should win on the economic side as well, and do everything we can to keep building and winning, #NoMatterWhat. So, we couldn't be happier to welcome one of our industry's top revenue leaders as our company's first CRO. Some of the most clichéd slogans around building tech companies is surrounding yourself with people much smarter than you. With Catie Ivey on board, I have definitely 100x'ed that slogan. After leading revenue teams for Pendo, Marketo, Demandbase, and more, Catie will join Walnut to help us stay on top of the emerging category we created in tech, with crazy growth plans for the upcoming years that we will probably share sometime soon.
