❤️ Supporting Family-Type Children’s Homes in 2023 In 2023, we initiated a program specifically designed to support family-type children's homes. This initiative was a direct response to the challenges encountered by families, particularly those in areas affected by war. Our commitment reached 51 homes, offering vital assistance with a total value of approximately 1.1 million UAH. (approx. 35 000 USD) A survey involving 46 foster parents revealed encouraging results: • Nearly 98% of families used all received goods, expressing complete satisfaction. • 100% acknowledged the helpfulness of the assistance, easing their daily lives. • 56.6% of supported homes were internally displaced due to the war. However, challenges persist, with 43.5% forced to rent housing, and 61% stating insufficient support from various sources. Despite difficulties, Family-Type Children’s Homes play a vital role in creating a balanced and safe environment for children facing adversity. Supporting these families is an investment in the future, contributing to the healthy growth of a new generation. In 2024, our focus remains on supporting these homes, enhancing programs, and addressing both immediate needs and items fostering children's education and development. A heartfelt thank you to everyone supporting the "Help for Family-Type Children’s Homes" program. Together, we are creating prospects for a better tomorrow. ➡️ For more details, read the full article > https://lnkd.in/es6JZZBM #CenterSocial #CenterSocialOrg #FamilySupport #ChildrensHomes #CommunityImpact #CreatingABetterFuture #ChildrensCharity #Ukraine

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲? The answer lies in the complexities and individual needs of the youth we serve. Our Youth Transition Service (YTS) is dedicated to assisting young people aged 12-21 who are at risk of involvement with the law, as well as those already involved with the justice system. These youth face a variety of challenges that make reintegration into the community particularly difficult. We tackle these challenges by creating customized reintegration plans for each youth, personalizing our approach to their unique challenges, goals, and interests. Whether it's guidance with schooling, support through trauma, or access to positive community involvement, we understand that each youth’s journey is different, and we're proud to support these youths in whatever ways they need. By addressing these diverse needs, we strive to help these young people successfully reintegrate into their communities, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging positive development. Remember turning 18? What were your plans? 🎉🥳✨Partying all night? 🌍✈️🚗Traveling during your gap year? OR 🏠🍽️🥪Worrying about house rent and food? Children who grow up in alternative care, that is not with their biological family, have to learn to survive independently as an adult at 18. Intensive support that may be extended by governments to children without parental care, usually ends when one turns 18, some ongoing help with housing, education etc may be given to them. But mostly, they are on their own, learning to survive without any social safety net. Thanks Ena M J. for asking about the meaning of a care leaver. It is not still a widely known term. But its important to know about care leavers because they often remain invisible in the community. Conservations such as these make them visible. This is the role of communication in the non-profit sector. Making visible, amplifying the voices of those who are not seen or heard and making them count! #careleavers #childrights #seen #heard #communicationspecialist #brand #policy #socialchange

Churches That Help Single Mothers Navigating life as a single mother can present many challenges, but it's important to remember that you're not alone. Many churches and religious communities offer a wide range of support services designed to assist single parents in need. Here's how you can get help: Reach out for support. The first step is to contact the churches near you. Many churches provide direct assistance or can connect you with local resources tailored to single parents. This could include counseling, financial assistance, food pantries, childcare, or educational workshops. Participate in community programs. Churches often host community programs that cater to single parents, offering a safe space for you and your children to connect with others who are in similar situations. These programs not only provide emotional and social support but can also include practical help like meal sharing, clothing drives, and school supply giveaways. Ask about specific services. Don't hesitate to inquire about specific services you may need. Some churches offer counseling services, which can be particularly beneficial for navigating the emotional and logistical complexities of single parenthood. Financial assistance programs are also available in many congregations, providing crucial support in times of need. Volunteer for reciprocal benefits. Consider volunteering at church events or programs. This can be a great way to give back to the community that supports you, and often, volunteers have access to additional resources or early information about upcoming assistance programs. Utilize child and youth programs. Many churches offer programs for children and youth, which can be a great way for your children to engage in positive activities, learn, and make friends in a safe environment, while you take some much-needed time for yourself or attend to other responsibilities. Remember, the key is to ask for help. Churches are typically welcoming and willing to assist, or at least to guide you to someone who can. You're taking a brave step for yourself and your children by seeking out support, and there's a community ready to stand with you. #SingleMomSupport #ChurchCommunityHelp #FaithBasedAssistance #ParentingTogether #CommunityOverEverything #SingleParentsUnite #HelpingHandsCommunity #SpiritualSupportSystem #LocalLove #FamilySupportNetwork

Where do I fit into The Labour Party's plans? 💧 Did you know, the number of children in care in the UK has seen a significant rise over the years. 👀 Here are some key statistics and insights for context: 📈 From 2009-10 to 2016-17, children in care surged from 64,460 to 75,420. 📅 Today, around 90 children are taken into care every single day. 🏠 Currently, approximately 83,840 children are in care across England. Despite being one of the wealthiest nations, the challenges these children face are immense: 🚸 Nearly 62% have suffered abuse or neglect. 💔 Around 45% struggle with mental health issues. 📚 Only 13% achieve five or more GCSEs at grades A*-C, compared to 58% of all children. Organisations like Home for Good (UK) are making a difference by: 🤝 Providing loving homes through fostering, adoption, and supported lodgings. 🏡 Supporting policies like "Staying Put," which allows young people to stay with foster carers until they are 21. To address these pressing issues effectively, we must: 🔧 Prioritise reform in children's social care 🎯 Promote political commitment and community support 👉 The Labour Party Wes Streeting Josh MacAlister MP We must unite as a society to support these children, helping them lead stable and fulfilling lives filled with love, understanding, care and dignity🌟 #dripbydripdaybyday #wefindaway #ChildCare #Fostering #Adoption #Support #ChildWelfare #SocialCare #FosterCare #Adoption #ChildProtection #SupportOurChildren #CommunitySupport #YouthAdvocacy #MentalHealthAwareness #EducationForAll #ChildWelfare #SocialCare #FosterCare #Adoption #ChildProtection #SupportOurChildren #CommunitySupport #YouthAdvocacy #MentalHealthAwareness #EducationForAll #ChildrenInNeed #ChildAdvocacy #CharityWork #NonProfit #SafeHomes #FamilySupport #UKCharity #CareSystem #YouthSupport #PositiveChange #SocialImpact #CommunityEngagement #VulnerableChildren #FutureGenerations #PolicyReform

Are you aware that single parents often struggle with securing affordable and stable housing? This challenge is part of the many hurdles that they face daily, including managing expenses on a single income and balancing work and parenting duties. JD Vance, an Ohio Senate candidate, has proposed an enhanced Child Tax Credit that can greatly assist these parents. Under his plan, full-time working parents would receive $4000 per child; part-time or out-of-work parents would get $2000. Local businesses, corporations with strong CSR programs and community-centric philanthropies can play a vital role in supporting this policy. 🏡🤝 Does your organization have the potential to assist in easing the burden for single parents? Let's work together to improve housing accessibility, provide financial resources and foster community growth. When children can dream without limits, they are more likely to explore their potential and aspire towards greater things. Fostering such an environment where they feel supported and encouraged can have a significant impact on their growth and development. What inspired this thought?
