I read something in 'Cleopatra and Frankenstein' this week. Mellors describes those in advertising as "people who had found the intersection between creativity and economy, who made beautiful things but did not suffer for it." For context, this observation comes from a struggling young artist who marries a man who started his own agency, with a recent Cannes Lion under his belt.
