🔍 Customized Special Yoga I recently modified a prime-sum algorithm, calculating prime sums from 5 to 10 million, except I ended up with 3. The result was 2,402,006,986,464! By using logical function names, and efficient loops, the code is readable and maintainable. 💡 Fibonacci recurrence and recurrence Additionally, I used two methods for calculating the nth Fibonacci number: Repetition method: Nice but can be slow for large numbers due to repetition. Iterative Method: Optimized for efficiency, delivering fast results for large inputs.

We need to end the stigma on depression. Like asthma it can be genetic or caused by environmental factors and like asthma if left untreated it can be fatal. I tried a permanent solution 10 years ago. Thanks to God (and skilled doctors) I was unsuccessful. I was in a wheelchair for 3 months and spent 6 months in physical therapy. As far as anyone knew I just had a very unfortunate car accident…in an empty park. (I wasn’t going to hurt anyone else) Very few know (<10 including friends and family) and I wouldn’t be sharing it now but I keep seeing notifications and I’ve decided to ignore the screaming voice in my head yelling “shut up! nobody cares! This is embarrassing, you will regret it!”and be honest: life was overwhelming, I was crushed losing dad, I was getting divorced, and I’d lost all hope things would ever be ok again. Fast forward 10 years - I still talk to someone weekly, practice Mindfullness and TM for stress, and I’ve continued to learn and grow in the field I love. Started a company “Sanctuary” channel for colleagues to share experiences and encourage each other to keep going. Do I still struggle? Oh yeah. But if I start to get down on myself I remember my cousin needs an inhaler to breathe and is still a beast on the soccer field. If any of this resonates please talk to someone - it’s your life and doctors continue to find new treatments. Search “Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation” and “gut biome impact on mental health” to see some of the latest discoveries. It can get better. You aren’t alone. None of us are really. Reach out. Please.
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Chris Berry, who took his life on June 18 after a long struggle with obsessive negative thoughts and depression. Chris worked in the data security and analytics industry for 30 years. He was dedicated to yoga, and taught three weekly classes at CorePower Yoga locations in San Francisco. He was a beloved son, brother, father and husband to us. Our entire family is heartbroken. A commemorative yoga class will be held in Chris' honor at CorePower Yoga Hayes Valley on Sat. July 20, 2024 at 10:30 am, taught by Chris' colleague Tolga. The registration link for attending the class is below. Those who have not practiced at CorePower before will be asked to make a profile to reserve a spot, but attendees will not be charged. https://lnkd.in/gDjcWbQG

What is duty after all? It is really the impulsion of the flesh, of our attachment; and when an attachment has become established, we call it duty. … It is, so to say, a sort of chronic disease. When it is acute, we call it disease; when it is chronic, we call it nature. It is a disease. So when attachment becomes chronic, we baptize it with the high-sounding name of duty. We strew flowers upon it, trumpets sound for it, sacred texts are said over it, and then the whole world fights, and people earnestly rob each other for this duty’s sake. Class on Karma Yoga. New York, January 10, 1896. Complete Works, 1. 103-104.
