You’re missing out on talent because you’re not marketing Gen Z the right way 👀
Our resident Gen Z whisperer & Employer Branding Specialist, Jade Walters, has some insider info into what your candidates want to see and how it’ll drastically increase your candidate pool for your early career programs…
🔥 Candidates want:
→ Engaging virtual events about your early career programs
→ Informative and easy to read content
→ 1st person insight into what they’ll be doing as an intern at your company, as told by other Gen Z-ers
→ One pagers about your early career programs
Jade says “When students are on a job hunt, they're looking for information as fast and digestible as possible. They’re tired of sifting through job descriptions that all mention Pizza Fridays and open floor office plans. They want to know exactly what they’ll be doing, learn things about your program that aren't on your website, and visualize themselves in your program before day 1.”
If you want to spread the word about your program, create content that can easily be shared across Linkedin, Instagram, in campus org groups chats, TikTok, etc.
A few things to include:
- stories of candidates who are in the program
- your company's branding
- the roles you're hiring for/departments
- program duration, pay, location
- quick facts to know about the company and program
- where to apply
Creators like Jade and so many others who share about early career programs LOVE content like this because they can easily share with their community, students can share with each other, and they get STRAIGHT to the point about what your program is offering and for whom.
Other companies we’ve seen who do a great job with this include The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., Capital One, KPMG, and Insight Partners just to name a few!
