**Honoring the Brave: A Memorial Day Reflection 🇺🇸** In the serene silence of dawn, rows upon rows of headstones tell stories of sacrifice, courage, and unwavering commitment. Today, we remember and honor the brave souls who laid down their lives for our freedom. Their legacy is etched in the heart of our nation, and their sacrifice serves as a profound reminder of the true cost of liberty. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let's take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy daily—freedoms paid for by the valor of our fallen heroes. **Here are three ways we can honor their memory:** 1. **Visit a Memorial**: Spend time at a local cemetery or war memorial. Place flowers, say a prayer, or simply reflect on their bravery. 2. **Share Their Stories**: Take a moment to read or share a story about a fallen hero. Keeping their stories alive ensures their sacrifice is never forgotten. 3. **Support Veterans**: Contribute to organizations that support veterans and their families. It's a small gesture that can make a significant impact. Wounded Warrior Project & American Valor Foundation are just two that I like and believe in supporting myself. However, there are many, do your research and find one that suits you. A Soldiers Poem I was that which others did not want to be. I went where others feared to go, and did that which others failed to do. I asked nothing from those who gave nothing, and reluctantly accepted the thought of eternal loneliness...should I fail. I have seen the face of terror; felt the stinging cold of fear; and enjoyed the sweet taste of a moment's love. I have cried, pained and hoped... But most of all I have lived times that others say were best forgotten. At least someday, I will be able to say that I was proud of what I was... a SOLDIER. Today, we remember and honor the many who stood in the shadows of conflict, embodying courage and resilience. Their sacrifices paved the path of peace we walk today. Here are ways we can honor these fallen heroes: 1. **Reflect on Their Courage**: Read and share poems like the one above, which capture the essence of their journey and sacrifice. 2. **Visit Memorials**: Take time to visit local memorials and pay homage to the fallen. 3. **Educate and Share**: Teach the younger generation about the significance of this day and share stories of heroism. 4. **Support Veterans**: Engage with and support veterans' organizations in your community. 5. **Observe a Moment of Silence**: At 3 PM, pause for a national moment of remembrance and reflection. I was struck by this last week during my devotionals. The story shared was about an interview that took place many years ago between a US Naval Admiral and a young cadet. One of the key questions, the Admiral asked him was “When you were in school and in all your life, did you always do your best?” Man – what a question. I know what my answer would have been as did this young man. He wanted to say Yes but answered honestly and said No.  The Admiral’s follow up question was short but powerful – “Why not?”. This young cadet’s name was Jimmy Carter, the same one that went on to become President of the US and write a book called Why Not the Best? This is not meant to be a political but rather about how it relates to what the Lord wants from us. He wants us to give our best always and this devotional centered around things that we must all understand. What would we die for? In John 15:13 – Jesus talks about this – “The greatest love is shown when a person lays down his life for his friends.” BOOM. It’s not what they say but rather what they DO. What are we willing to sacrifice? In Timothy 2:3 – Jesus shares “Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” It’s not about doing things that make us comfortable but doing things where we need to sacrifice that makes the impact.  How do we eliminate distractions? In 2 Timothy 2:4 states “No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.”  Who are we trying to please? Greatness comes from loving him and loving our neighbor. The first & greatest commandment. My challenge is how can I use more of my resources to help others.

The Rabbits That Defeated Napoleon 🐇🚀 Ever heard of Napoleon retreating? It happened—but not how you'd expect. In 1807, after a grand breakfast, Napoleon’s team organized an elaborate rabbit hunt, releasing 1,000 rabbits into a field. What started as a routine event quickly turned chaotic when, instead of fleeing, the rabbits charged back at the men. After Napoleon's battalion was able to push them back once, the rabbits charged a second time causing them to retreat. Napoleon—one of the greatest military strategists in history—was forced to retreat from... rabbits. Why? These weren’t ordinary wild rabbits—they were rabbits used for hunts, used to humans and being fed, and they hadn't been fed for days. Hunger can make the underdogs unstoppable and make it possible for small teams to defy all odds to victory. #Founders: When building your early teams, are you hiring for hunger or prestige? Both is ideal, but if I had to take one or the other I'd take hunger all day. Remember, it’s the hungry who charge forward. 🔥

Memorial Day We have much to be thankful for as citizens of this country. Memorial Day provides an opportunity to be thankful for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to this country while serving in the US Armed Forces. Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, was held on May 30th, 1868, and remained on That date until 1971, when it was changed to the 4th Monday of May and officially became Memorial Day.  Memorial Day traditions involve marking the graves where those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice are eternally laid to rest. It is also a day for parades and cookouts. For many, it is also the first weekend of summer. Several years back, I had the opportunity to visit Normandy American Cemetery, located in Colleville-su-mer, France. Standing on those grounds took my breath away. To me, it was sacred ground. The Normandy American Cemetery is adjacent to the cliff overlooking Omaha Beach. Omaha Beach was one of four beaches used on June 6, 1944, when Allied forces launched Operation Overlord, or D-Day. I have always wondered about the mindset of those men on that day. They had to jump out of an airplane or disembark a ship in the face of heavy enemy activity. They had to have fear, but they also had to understand that the only way to make it back home was to take that first step and fight. The Generation that endured the hardships of this time is known as the Greatest Generation. One of the things that made this generation great was that they understood the consequences. All of our choices have consequences. You can choose not to act on your dreams but must embrace the consequences. You can build up that wall that keeps out the fear of uncertainty, but that is also the same wall that keeps out the joy you will experience having your dream become your reality. As you take time to pause this weekend in remembrance of Memorial Day, remember your dreams. Remember how they have excited you. Never forget those times when you told yourself that one day, you would take that step, Today is that day. Don’t let the fear of the unknown hold you back. It’s Hint Of Existance Is What Got You Here In This Moment In Time Against All Odds. A Time Of Change, Not Comfort Comes, An Earth Of Wonder, Not Dispare. You Have A Mission, Set In Your Hearts DNA Before You Were Born. To Successfully Fulfill Gods Plan Here On Earth. An Earth Were Evil Has No Place But It’s Lower Dimention To Hide. For We Are At A Level, A Higher Vibration Than What Evil Will Have You Believe. All Gods Children, With Faults And Imperfections So Obvious, In Plain View Of Christ Jesus Forgiveness. You Need Only To Ask, Then Put On The Armor Of God And Prepare For Battle. For It Will Come With No Empathy For Your Pain For It Feeds On It. May God Bless You All In Christ Jesus Name. Amen
