"The first green flag or red flag [with a founding team] is if they're really open for feedback" - Tibor Zechmeister in our episode of Founder's Voyage released today. In our latest podcast episode, we had an insightful conversation with Tibor, an experienced entrepreneur in the healthcare and medtech sectors. One key takeaway? The importance of feedback and learning from failures. Tibor shared his fascinating journey from an Austrian version of "Shark Tank" to attending the MIT Bootcamp. He highlighted how the disciplined entrepreneurship framework was a game-changer, emphasizing the steps of finding the right problem, assembling the right team, and achieving product-market fit. It’s not just about having a solution; it’s about solving real-world problems that people are willing to pay for. 🧠 (Links in comments) Nancy Nash Matthew Ray Carlos Javier Chacón Sánchez Daniel M. This quarter I’m showcasing Podcasts that have inspired, educated, entertained me or helped learn and grow over the past couple of years. I’ve posted frequently about the influence Dan Sullivan and Strategic Coach have had on my journey towards success (which I now define as balancing the four freedoms of time, purpose, relationships and money). Someone in my last coaching session claimed the cost of the program was the scariest but best cheque he ever wrote. Coaching and self-development can be a very expensive investment. It can also be free (or, well rather without a financial cost - nothing is free 😀). Before writing the scary cheque, I took in as much of the “free” material I could find from Dan Sullivan. Things like his podcasts, books, blogs and so forth. I strongly recommend checking out this podcast which I binged for months before taking the leap. The mindsets and framing of balancing business and personal growth, challenges and opportunities have been transformative. I really enjoyed this episode with Dan and Joe Polish. What cost-less materials were helpful to you on your path? https://lnkd.in/gPBx-y5r

"If you are doing the same things, you are not growing; you have to find ways to automate and delegate to focus on new and bigger things." One of the key topics Laurent Notin and I discussed on his podcast: Cracking The Entrepreneur Bottleneck In this episode, we discussed the critical components necessary for entrepreneurs to transition from startup to scalable success. Other topics we discussed include: - Passion is optional, but skills and sacrifice are not. - Learning from people who have been successful in what you are trying to accomplish will save you a lot of mistakes and headaches. - What got you to ten people and a million dollars in revenue will not get you to 20 or 30 and 2 or 3 million dollars in revenue. - Dealing with the unknowns and ambiguity is a muscle you have to grow as a founder ready to scale. - Always put a financial plan in place and expect the revenue to be delayed and more expenses than you planned for. Tune in here: https://lnkd.in/eh3GrswH Thank you Laurent for a lively and productive conversation! #Entrepreneurship #Podcast #Mindset

In a blog post, our Founder & Host Mohamed Refai explains why he started Moghamra مغامرة and provides more information about him (or intentional lack of). Link to the blog post: https://lnkd.in/dk85Em22
I've realised that I never properly introduced Moghamra مغامرة or, as a matter of fact, introduced myself on the podcast. In an effort to build in public, I've written a blog post about why I started Moghamra and more information about me (or intentional lack of). Link to the blog post: https://lnkd.in/dM9KkFJ2

🦾 Automating MedTech compliance to make high-quality health products accessible to everyone | Co-Founder: Flinn.ai | Product Enthusiast | Former Product Head @ N26 & Circ
When my co-founder Bastian first told me about the possibility of using public funding for Flinn.ai, I had my doubts. From past experiences, I knew that such financial grants could distract product development and cause confusion in the early stages of a company, when future planning and prioritization are already challenging. There was even a point at another startup where we returned the money because the funded project no longer matched our priorities. However, Bastian, who has an impressive experience of raising over 20 million euros in public funding, convinced me that it is feasible to overcome these challenges. 🎙️💡 If you are interested in learning about our experience with public funds, then join us in our latest podcast episode. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀: 1️⃣ My initial reservations and how Bastian's experience dispelled them. 2️⃣ The complexity of public funding and how to successfully navigate it. 3️⃣ Practical tips on how to strategically incorporate public funding into company growth.
