Fresh off the press! 📰 The latest insights in the world of #gaming are here. 1) More Xbox 360 Games Get Last-Minute Discount Before Store Closure: Three more indie games have been added to the Xbox 360 digital storefront sale ahead of its imminent closure next week. Starting in May, Xbox began to unveil three big waves of digital Xbox 360 game discounts for fans looking to secure certain titles before they're made unavailable on July 29. Major titles like Batman: Arkham City, Devil May Cry 4, Far Cry 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, a host of Resident Evil and Street Fighter games, and more have been put on sale. 2) Warner Bros Games Has Acquired Another Studio: Warner Bros. Games officially acquired Player First Games, the developer of MultiVersus, in its newest addition to its collection of studios. MultiVersus launched in May 2024, after beta releases over the past couple of years. The 2D side-scrolling platform fighter lets players battle it out as various Warners Bros. characters, from Bugs Bunny to Superman. This was the first release from Player First Games. 3) Electronic Arts (EA) Sports College Football 25 was a hit before it even released: EA Sports revealed that around 2.2 million people played the game during its three-day early access period.

The September edition of State of Play has come and gone, and it brought us a lot of cool announcements, awesome releases, and lots and lots of reveals. For example, one of the incredibly cool games of 2023 - Alan Wake 2 received a second DLC called “The Lake House”. So let's take a look at the trailer for this event! The expansion itself has many references to one of the new Remedy Entertainment games - Control 2. The plot events will take place at Lake Cauldron and will tell about the consequences of a terrible event related to paintings and the Dark Place that occurred at the research station of the Federal Bureau of Control. And its main character will be Kieran Estevez. The developers promise us something amazing and incredible, so the release of this DLC will definitely be worth your attention. The release of the expansion “The Lake House” will take place in October on all current platforms - PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but we will find out the exact date a little later. In the meantime, you can already add this DLC to your October plans. Gaming classics, but in a new way! As part of the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, the first full trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was shown. The original version of the game became a cult classic and left its mark on gaming history. Konami appears to be planning a major comeback for the iconic franchise! The two-minute trailer itself demonstrated tactical gameplay and reprisals against opponents. Players will have to survive in the wild and hide from enemies. We were also shown footage from the game's opening scene and mission. Which obviously excited the gamer fans! Unfortunately, the developers have not revealed release dates at this time, but we do know that the game will be released on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
