Extended stay hotels occupy a unique niche in the hospitality industry, catering to guests who require accommodations for longer durations typically a week or more. This segment is distinct from traditional hotels, which are designed for short-term stays. In today's blog, we’ll explore the specific challenges of revenue management for extended stay hotels and discuss tailored strategies to overcome them. https://lnkd.in/dXiYHavA

Following on from the list of the world's best hotels, I now have the list for Thailand, my home. When I don't see a hotel such as the Siam on the list I have to ask myself how it's compiled. I have come to the conclusion that the type of guests who visit the very best hotels, such as The Siam or the Mandarin Oriental or the Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve maybe just aren't the type of clients that review hotels on sites such as Trip Advisor. If this is the case, how can we ever compile a true list of the best properties? Do the very best hotels rely on these lists for business or is their reputation alone enough to keep occupancy high? https://lnkd.in/eSJWDmxQ
