I talk about business- but less so my own. In February - Nest DC celebrates 16 years of grit, determination ... good times. Once-in-a-lifetime times. Then hard times. I'm proud of my business, but not too proud to say, we had a lot of work to do when those hard times caught up to us. 2025 comes with uncertainty, but Nest turned the page. Because 2024 was transformational for us. We reorganized every part of our business - so we're more human than ever. Because managing homes with care is a privilege. Follow our journey. 2024 was a huge year for Digital Horizon AU. This year brought countless lessons.  Not just in growing a business, but in scaling effectively and learning to lead a team. Our client base expanded, and we’ve had the privilege of partnering with some incredible people and businesses. We pushed creative boundaries, introducing CGI and animation to revolutionize how construction companies market themselves. It’s been a year of learning and growth and it’s only the beginning of what’s ahead for Digital Horizon AU. Big things are on the horizon for 2025.

10 years ago, we asked ourselves this question: “Can’t everyone build their own digital future? What was cool about last year?...Hints: $750,000,000, the Statue of Liberty, Austin Business Journal Fastest Growing Companies List, American Express Partnership... 2024 was great, but why listen to me when there is this awesome Billd wrapped that was put together? What am I looking forward to in 2025? We are quickly headed to reaching our first $1B in funds delivered to Contractors. It's a nice large round number, but what it means is allowing our Customers to focus on the work in front of them and building meaningful projects...while not stressing about cashflow. #construction #constructiontech #billd #constructionfinance

Last-min shopping and catching a quick break, I’ve been reflecting on 2024 💯 a landmark year. Here are some highlights: 🎉 Team Growth: Started the year with 2 staff, now finishing with 72! 👩💼 Leadership Expansion: Built a management team with 12 team leaders and a Head of Department. 🤝 Client Growth: Built our client base to 139 members. 💡 Model Upgrade: Shifted from one-off payments to a stronger monthly recurring model. 📞 New Department: Launched a telephone appointment-setting team, booking on 1–2 appointments a day for clients. 🏆 Client Wins: Had more client wins than Fridays to celebrate them (and Fridays are client-win-share days!). Sharing this as a moment of gratitude and to publicly thank Flora Aboyewa Fego Omere Jihad Sakildien Joey Romeu Precious Mbaka, and Praise from my Million Dollar Sprint Team. Also a special thanks to Alexis Sikorsky for your wisdom and insight and to the best accountability buddy ever Amanda C. Watts.
