When do we recommend Horizontal rather than vertical Powder Coating? Certainly for larger items and also it is possible to spray more complex parts such as louvres as there is the ability to hand spray complex areas. It is also offers us the possibility to change colour quickly which works for small batches #HorizontalPowderCoating #PowderCoatingTips #CoatingTechnology

What is powder coating and how does it work? Powder coating is a type of finish that can be applied to metal parts. Powder (that has an electrostatic charge) is applied to a grounded part via a spray gun. The coated part is then cured in a specialized oven using heat. While the powder cures, the pigments mixed with resins within the powder chemically react. Once the part comes out of the oven, it cools to create a hardened, durable coat. 🔥 Galvanising vs. Hot Zinc Spray! 🔥 Here’s a quick look at one of the hot-dipped galvanised railings we just had in. The initial reading? 104 microns. But, to get it smooth enough to powder coat, we’ve had to fettle it down to 76 microns (even less in spots!) just to achieve the right surface for coating. Now, galvanising might seem cheaper at first. But if you’re after a clean, aesthetic finish, it’s a false economy. Why? We often end up removing around a quarter of the zinc layer just to make it smooth enough to coat properly! If you’re looking for a reliable, long-lasting coating, consider Hot Zinc Spray from the start. It’s specifically designed for a flawless finish and lasting protection—without the need for extra fettling. Check out our blog for the full breakdown on why Hot Zinc Spray is often the more cost-effective solution. 👇 Link in the first comment. #Powdercoating #Hotzincspray #shotblasting #protectivecoatings

🌟 What is Powder Coating? 🌟 Powder coating is a durable and long-lasting finish applied to metal surfaces. This process involves applying a dry powder and then curing it under heat to create a hard, protective layer. Unlike traditional paint, powder coating is eco-friendly and resistant to chipping, scratching, and fading. Explore how powder coating can enhance your metal surfaces! ✨ #PowderCoating #DurableFinish #EcoFriendly #SurfaceProtection #AJEcoBlasting

There are so many different types of cold vulcanising adhesive available on the market that it can be quite difficult for users to know which is the right one to go with. Whilst all kinds of claims can be made about each glue type, our team has been undertaking rubber-to-rubber cold bonding for over 40 years producing some of the largest sidewall belts in the world with this proven technique. Our CORRUBOND(TM) is consistently delivering adhesion strengths higher than other rubber-to-rubber adhesives in the European market. We simply would not put our name to it if it didn't achieve the highest possible bonding strengths. And with us producing thousands of metres of sidewall belts that operate in very demanding conditions and that are seriously high-value installations, we simply would not be producing what we do as well as we do with anything substandard. At Hillhead 2024, you will even be able to see for yourself by way of a live demonstration just how strong the adhesion levels are! #vulcanising #cold #bonding #rubber #conveyorbelts #conveyorbelting #adhesives

It`s the process that becomes your solution! Get in contact with the #Venjakob team. More than 60 yesars of experience in surface technology . There is a solution for your requirement, even if it is extraordinary, or difficult. Talk to Christian Streit (Executive Vice President wood/building materials) or Gert große Deters (Executive Vice President General Industry/Automotive) and get started to simplify your production process!
Combined roller and spray coating The combination of roller application and spraying has several advantages. Two to three coats of roller coated basecoat at approx. 40 g/m² with 98% transfer rate and one coat of topcoat using the spray coating technology at approx. 120 g/m² and 50%-60% transfer rate will result in a very good surface quality, but significantly more effective in terms of cost/m² than a conventional build-up with just spray coated layers. Achieve an optimum surface coating result with a combined roller and spray coating system from VENJAKOB Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. Powder coating has many advantages and disadvantages as a metal finish. It is often chosen for its durable finish, environmental friendliness and lower variable cost compared to liquid coatings. However, even powder coatings are susceptible to wear and damage over time. Whether it is to prevent oxidation of the iron substrate or to restore the appearance of the product, there is a good reason to apply a liquid coating to a powder coated surface. If you want to continue painting, the short answer is yes, however, you must be aware of some precautions. Powder coating is a dry custom sheet metal finishing process used to apply a durable, protective layer of color and texture to metal surfaces. The process involves electrostatically charging powder particles and then spraying them onto the surface to be coated. The coated object is then cured in an industrial oven, where the powder melts and forms a hard, smooth finish. Here’s a closer look at our powder coating process as well as some insight into powder selection. https://bit.ly/3xQryle #powdercoating #powdercoat
