Today, we released our Q4 and full year 2023 results. 2023 was a year of significant growth for us, with a focus on large-scale electrolyser projects and strategic moves to position ourselves at the forefront of the green energy transition. Some highlights from 2023: 🟣 NOK 1.8 billion: Full-year 2023 revenue, marking a 78% increase. 🟣 91% growth: Electrolyser division revenue surge in 2023. 🟣 EBITDA improvements: Demonstrating the scalability of our business model. 🟣 The fueling division reported a substantial EBITDA margin improvement in the fourth quarter of 2023 🟣 Large-Scale Projects: The average project size among the top 20 leads, is about 450 MW with a median of about 200 MW. “Nel generated close to 1.8 billion NOK in revenues in 2023, up almost 80 percent from 2022. Moreover, EBITDA improved by more than 300 million NOK year-on-year, and the net loss was significantly reduced. Although I am pleased with this development, the real significance of the 2023 financial figures is that Nel’s business model scales well. Today we announced our first quarter earnings for 2024 through our holding company GLX Holding AS. During the quarter, we delivered a steady performance, marked by sales growth and investment in initiatives to improve operational performance and cost efficiencies. Revenue grew 1.3% to NOK 1,056 million (1,042) with our order intake stable at NOK 1,096 million (1,094). Compared to the first quarter last year, revenue was impacted by the timing of Easter, which fell in the first quarter this year compared to the second quarter last year. This also impacted our adjusted EBITA along with general inflation. Progress was made on our Green Light Strategic Plan to support growth initiatives and there was a notable step-up in investments in plant automation and new digital systems and tools. We anticipate that these and cost-improvement measures in place will bear fruit in the latter half of the year. We continued to see demand for our energy-efficient LED luminaires, and increasingly for our connected lighting and systems to manage them, both in our Professional Building Solutions and Marine, Offshore & Wind divisions.
