Compassionate care is so important! Today confirmed a few things for my daughter who is a young adult: 1. You're not being dramatic. You're actually sick & tried to tough it out too long. 2. You're not a burden, you're worth my time and investment. 3. Multiple care providers apologized for what she went through before she walked through their doors and told her she was in good hands now. 4. You never have to apologize to your momma, or a caregiver, for asking for help AND receiving it. It's. What. We. Do. #sograteful #takingcareofwhatmattersmost
