Imagine if all the Tier 1 voice carriers interacted with the channel like Volli Making personal connections with everyone here. Having their own inside jokes with random people from different organizations. Makes you think. Why don’t they? Why NOT be more personal; especially from their C-Suite. Personally? I think a business will do better in the future economy by having the top-top leadership taking the time to make personal connections with everyone. Someone asked last week at ITEXPO #TECHSUPERSHOW what’s a super power that sets you apart. My answer: our leadership You won’t find a more upfront and honest team on the carrier side.
I find nothing but truth in what you have said here. As a channel leader who has built programs from scratch and run existing programs, success has always been dependent on emotional intelligence and connections at the human level. Keep doing what you are doing…. It works
Two factors at play here by the Tier 1 C suite folks. Arrogance & Profit The pressure to preform, without asking for help at that level sucks the human out of many.
why did i think your beanie said "fortnite"
Amen, Travis. Great seeing you at the show! See you at CP in Vegas in about a month.

8moI'm actively experiencing this with some vendors that were at IT Expo. We had customers coming up to our booth asking if we would interop with their preferred carrier so they could launch with us. Their preferred carrier has now several years in a row ignored our direct outreach and inquiries via their website. When asked about these types, I in good faith can't recommend them and will only share my anecdotal experience of their unwillingness to work with others (only when asked directly my opinion of said orgs.) My feeling is that it can be valuable for a prospective customer to know how they're hamstrung by their current vendors greed.
