Safer Together: A Comprehensive Community Safety Plan in Pitt Meadows. As part of PLAN 366 with the guidance of Professor Dr. Cherie Enns, MCIP, RPP (she/her), our team— Elena Van Buschbach, Kiyah Price, Hudson Campbell, Cole Iakovou, and myself—collaborated to create a comprehensive Community Safety Plan for Pitt Meadows. 🔍 Our Mission To envision a Pitt Meadows where safety, well-being, and inclusivity are at the heart of every decision. Our plan reflects thoughtful integration of urban planning strategies like Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles, restorative justice approaches, and targeted community engagement. This project challenged us to think critically, embrace diverse perspectives, and apply practical solutions to real-world issues. It was both inspiring and humbling to work toward creating a safer, more resilient Pitt Meadows.
