There are a lot of things to consider when shopping for the right therapist for you. Here is a short list of filters to help narrow down that process for us! What stands out to you as eye-opening here? For me (and yes, I wrote all of these) it's number 2: You know you've got a good therapist when they are actively engaged in what you're sharing. It's true a good therapist should let the client do most of the talking, but there is a difference between silence that is for the client's benefit and silence that is simply not interested. Get the therapy you deserve with a "good therapist!" #wellbeing #therapy #goodtherapy #mentalhealth #awareness #empowerment #clientfirst #checklist #Georgiatherapy #savannahtherapist #coastline #care #deserve

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT THERAPIST? It’s important to find a good therapist with whom you feel comfortable. After all, you might talk about uncomfortable subjects—or even share things you’ve never told anyone before. So, if you want to work with someone with whom you will open up to and listen to. But there are so many options and choices out there that choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming. You may have received a suggestion to work with a particular therapist. Maybe a friend said, “This therapist helped me so much. You should call them and make an appointment, too.” But will that particular therapist be able to help you as well? It depends. While the therapist may have great skills, their work with you will only be effective if you feel connected to them. So the same therapist that made a great impact on your friend may not work out well for you if you don’t feel that personal connection. #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawareness #therapistsofinstagram #therapistsconnect #mentalhealthadvocacy #therapistcommunity

Flourish in your caregiving role | Find strength, reclaim time, & create balance as a family caregiver | Align your mind, body, & spirit with PATH coaching | Recalibrate & recuperate with our family caregiver support
Caregivers who are balancing their professional careers with family responsibilities often find themselves grappling with feelings of isolation. They frequently do not talk to colleagues about this "second job". Introducing coaching support into their lives can make a substantial difference in navigating these complex challenges. Research indicates that caregivers who engage in coaching sessions witness a notable decrease in stress levels, leading to an overall enhancement in their well-being. By targeting the issue of isolation and providing valuable guidance, caregivers can establish a stronger sense of connection and a greater feeling of support within their caregiving roles. #CaregiverWellness #SupportSystem Reach out for a personal call to see how I can help. https://buff.ly/3WtlUxP

Therapist, do you ever wonder through what lenses your clients see the world through? These very lenses, the perspectives of our clients, often serve as their protective gear, shielding them from the people and situations that have caused them pain in the past. But it's time we let our clients know they don't need to have the glasses on all the time—that there are places and people they can feel safe with. Comment down a "👓" if you find this helpful!
