When you fit together thousands of jigsaw pieces, the seams are visible. Our job was to make it seamless. A client needed to edit thousands of content pieces to fit their new app format. Without a solid content strategy, it risked looking like a jigsaw puzzle – jagged edges included. But with a helping hand, the content migration was fully optimized. Sharp. Smooth. With no seam, join or edge in sight. Read more on how they got their ‘appily ever after here 👉 https://lnkd.in/evgrurFD #UX #ContentStrategy #DigitalTransformation #UserExperience

Why 70% of Products Fail and How to Be in the 30% That Succeed...? 🤔 The biggest problem for companies is to build a product that is very addictive and highly engaging for the users. As a Swarnadeep Debnath UX designer, we know how crucial it is to build products that captivate and retain users. So there is a book called "Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products" by Nir Eyal that addresses the solutions. In the book, the author provides an ultimate solution by discussing the "Hook zone" which is a cycle of habit formation. The Hook zone is a four-step process that creates a cycle of habit formation. 📌1. Trigger: A cue that sets off the habit, like a notification/advertisement or maybe FOMO (fear of missing out) Which makes the user open the app and see what happening. For ex: a notification from Instagram that someone liked your post. 📌2. Action: The behaviour itself, like scrolling through a feed or checking notifications could be any task within the app Which creates a subconscious habit for the user. For ex: you open the Instagram app and start scrolling through your feed. This is the behaviour itself – you're taking action because of the trigger. 📌3. Reward: The benefit or payoff, like social validation or a sense of accomplishment. It means providing something that makes the user difficult to leave the app , it could be followers, like, shares which are visible to the user. 📌4. Investment: The user puts something in, like time or data, which increases commitment. For ex: you spend 30 minutes scrolling through your feed, liking and commenting on posts, and even posting something yourself. I hope this information will help you to understand better Please do like, share your thoughts & repost Make sure you follow me Swarnadeep Debnath . . . . . #user #testing #usetesting #usability #usabilityteasting #ux #ui #product #productdesign #uidesign #uiux #uxdesign #uidesigner #graphicdesign #design #ux #creative #ui #webdesign #uxacesibility #HookModel #HabitFormation #ProductDesign #UXDesign #AddictiveProducts #EngagingProducts#Hooked #BehavioralDesign #ProductDevelopment #UserRetention #GrowthHacking

365 Days Daily UX Wisdom #12- 💫"Authenticity is more important than Perfection" – A UX perspective I've learned that striving for absolute perfection can often work against creating meaningful user experiences. Users don't connect with perfect interfaces; they connect with experiences that feel genuine and human. As designers, our goal should be creating solutions that resonate with real human behaviors and needs, even if they're not technically "perfect.” Here's why authenticity trumps perfection, illustrated through real-world examples: 1️⃣ Slack's loading messages inject personality with phrases like "Finding the perfect GIF" or "Reticulating splines." These aren't "perfect" loading screens, but they create authentic moments that acknowledge the human experience of waiting. 2️⃣ The rise of "dark mode" across apps wasn't about perfect aesthetics – it was about authentically addressing user needs for comfort during late-night usage. WhatsApp and Twitter embraced this despite their established visual identities. 3️⃣ Medium's reading time indicator doesn't promise precise accuracy – it gives an estimate. This authentic approach helps users make better decisions about their reading time without claiming perfect precision. 4️⃣ Gmail's "undo send" feature wasn't born from a pursuit of perfection – it emerged from acknowledging the very human tendency to spot errors right after hitting 'send'. Rather than pretending users never make mistakes, Gmail embraced this reality and designed for it. 5️⃣ Instagram's early success wasn't built on flawless photo quality. Instead, it tapped into authentic self-expression through "imperfect" filters that made everyday moments feel special. This human-centric approach contributed more to user engagement than technical perfection ever could. What are your thoughts? Have you encountered any examples where authenticity in design created a better user experience than pursuing perfection? See you all tomorrow! Peace :) #DailyUXWisdom #UXperience365 #UXcellence #UXpertise #Authenticity #UXDesign #UX #UserExperience #DesignTips #WebDesign #ProductDesign #UX #DigitalDesign #Innovation #DesignThinking #DesignPhilosophy
