Our Senior Software Engineer, Sebastian Theophil, was a guest lecturer at Free University of Berlin (FU Berlin), one of Germany’s top-ranking universities and currently ranked 98th worldwide. He presented "Nobody Can Program Correctly: A Practical and Interactive Guide to Debugging C++ Code". We were happy to see that participants expressed a keen interest in learning more about debugging and asked many questions after the talk. Follow this link to find out more: https://lnkd.in/eBpZW6cJ

In this podcast episode, I out myself by sharing that I never took the compilers class back in school! And now I am up to my ears in code transforms and optimizations while working on SPEC CPUv8. Code generation continues to be an important and foundational element of computer engineering, so don't do what I did! Take a listen to the wisdom of Kevin Smith as we work on the hardware-software interface, and Jacob Little from North Carolina State University who is now a full-time verification engineer at Ampere. . https://lnkd.in/g53rKFqH . . . . #cloudcomputing #software #compilers #codegeneration #gcc #llvm #ampere #internship #softwareengineering #cpus #hwsw #softwareoptimizations #mentorship #summerinternship #pdx #rdu #siliconvalley

Excited to share that I've successfully completed a week-long, in-house summer training program in basic competitive programming using C++. This immersive experience has equipped me with essential skills in problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and efficient coding practices. I'm grateful for the opportunity to deepen my understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their application in real-world scenarios. Looking forward to leveraging these newfound competencies to tackle complex challenges and contribute effectively to future projects. #CompetitiveProgramming #CPP #ContinuousLearning
