Kicking off this summer by solving 50 Leetcode problems (15 easy, 30 medium, and 5 hard problems) in one month. It's good to be back after a busy last semester! Could definitely use a bigger ratio of hard problems, but I'm happy with this little milestone as a warmup for the rest of the summer. I had a lot of fun coming up with solutions, trying to optimize them, and most importantly, developing more intuition about using the right approaches for each problem. It's really important to know how to look at each problem from different angles, reach one or more correct solutions, and then recognize the most efficient solution. This is a reminder that the biggest contest you have is no one but yourself. As long as you're trying to be better than yesterday, then you're on the right path 😊.

In addition to working through my bootcamp assignments from Coders Campus and the excellent networking course by David Roberts, I'm also committed to solving at least 1 LeetCode problem per weekday. I'm working my way through their "Top Interview 150" question list, to start. Here's my solution to the first one, 88. Merge Sorted Array, using a 2-pointer approach. I won't lie, I had to do some research to figure this out, but I think I ended up with a very optimized solution. Space complexity is O(1) because all operations are done in-place on nums1, and time complexity is O(m + n) because we only iterate over each value one time while merging. I added a ton of comments to ensure I'm able to explain it, and as notes for my future self. Rolling that boulder up the hill, one day at a time! 💪🪨⛰️

Ever wondered why Programmer's Day is celebrated on September 13th? It's all thanks to a young Russian's brilliant idea! He chose this date because it's the 256th day of the year, the exact number that represents the maximum value fitting into 1 byte. 💻🎉 Curious to learn more about this intriguing history? 🚀 Day 37 of #100DaysCodingChallenge 🚀 Today was all about powering through my Electrical Machine 2 syllabus for the upcoming semester exams. 📚 Revised the entire content, feeling confident and ready to conquer! But, that's not all! 💻 I also took on a coding challenge on LeetCode - problem 1781 "Check if Two String Arrays are Equivalent". 🤔 Navigated through the intricacies and crafted a solution. Check out the code on my GitHub: [LeetCode Solution](https://lnkd.in/gWCqU8Xm). And of course, couldn't resist diving into another challenge on GeeksforGeeks - "Check whether BST contains Dead End". 🌲 Successfully cracked it! Dive into the solution code on my GitHub: [GFG Solution](https://lnkd.in/gM4TTyDg). In Part 2 of our coverage of the Summer of Code hackathon, presented by the MCIT Online Student Association, we hear from students who built projects addressing civic engagement, sustainability and digital security challenges. Not only were these projects awarded prizes by the competition's judges, but the students have plans to continue development beyond the hackathon. Read the full story below to find out what the participants had to say about the various strategies, tools and programming languages they utilized to produce real-world technical solutions while furthering their own abilities and proficiencies: https://lnkd.in/e9jF7jaf And if you haven't already — be sure to read Part 1 of this story for a full summary for the Summer of Code hackathon here: https://bit.ly/3PzW0oF
