As record heat continues in Omaha, stay safe and hydrated. Recognize the warning signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Heat Exhaustion: Headache, nausea, dizziness, muscle cramps, heavy sweating, fatigue Heat Stroke: Hot, red, dry skin, high body temperature, rapid pulse, confusion, loss of consciousness Take Action: Heat Stroke: Call 911 immediately, move to a cooler area, and apply cool water or ice. Heat Exhaustion: Move to shade, remove excess clothing, and sip cool water, and consider visiting our ThinkQuick Walk-In Clinic.
