💡 Thursday Thoughts: Celebrating Small Wins in the Workplace In the race to achieve big milestones, small wins often go unnoticed. But these everyday victories—finishing a challenging task, learning something new, or helping a teammate—are what truly fuel progress and keep the momentum alive. ✨ The Trend: Organizations are increasingly emphasizing micro-celebrations—pausing to acknowledge and appreciate the smaller accomplishments that pave the way for larger goals. This trend ties into the broader focus on fostering positivity and a culture of gratitude at work. 🌟 A Story: One company recently introduced “Shoutout Thursdays,” where employees gather to celebrate each other’s achievements—big or small. The simple act of appreciation created a ripple effect of motivation and camaraderie. 🤔 Food for Thought: At Miles Education, where team effort drives excellence, could creating rituals to celebrate small wins bring even more energy and connection to the workplace? After all, every milestone starts with a series of small steps. What’s one small win you celebrated this week? Let’s make gratitude contagious! #ThursdayThoughts #CelebrateWins #WorkplaceCulture #MilesEducation #Miles2Go Varun Jain, CPA, CMA Miles Education

Today, we celebrate the incredible contributions of workers and embrace the dawn of a new month, let this occasion serve as a medium for self-reflection, a time for us to appreciate our accomplishments and identify areas for growth and improvement. As we set on this new chapter, let us grab the power of strategic planning, refined approaches and ensure we operate at our highest potential. 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡!

Real talk: centering yourself in gratitude is tough. It’s a practice—a process that requires consciously redirecting both your internal and external narratives. Let’s face it, for many of us, our organization isn’t where we want or to need it to be. There’s always more to do, more to serve, more to achieve. But here’s the truth: we perform at a higher level when we pause to acknowledge how far we’ve come, what we’ve achieved personally and professionally, and how fortunate we are to be here, doing this work.

Never skip the celebration. You’ve been told to keep pushing, right? But what if that advice is secretly sabotaging your success? Celebrating small wins isn’t just about feeling good—it’s essential for keeping your momentum. Our brains are wired for rewards—dopamine spikes every time you acknowledge an achievement. Miss those moments, and you’re starving your motivation. That’s why I took time to celebrate my citizenship with a fine dining experience—50% off, of course. It felt great, and now I’m more motivated than ever for the next chapter. So, are you celebrating your wins? Because without that boost, the finish line might just slip further away. #financialwellness #financialwellbeing

As Ascendion Turns Two this week (10/10), here is a message from our CEO. Although it's been only 2 years in the journey that we have taken towards transformation, it feels like we have been here for 2 decades. #Ascendion #Transformation #Innovation #Technology #PeopleMatters #AscenderAppreciationWeek #AAW

5 BIG THINGS I’m Grateful for This Week 🦃✨ (1) Gratitude builds trust. A simple “thank you” goes a long way. Whether with clients, colleagues, or family, it’s a reminder that relationships—and results—are built on appreciation. (2) Defying gravity takes teamwork. Our Discovery & Design team has just two weeks to create a workshop where we will rethink a business journey and how to make it digital. Deadlines make it wicked, but teamwork makes it possible 💫 (3) Thanksgiving is about people, not the menu. Turkey is fine, but the rest? HARD PASS. Sharing a meal with family and friends makes for a perfect day, regardless of what is on the menu. (4) Sometimes, you just need a moment. While the kids were off cheering Ole Miss at the Egg Bowl, I had a rare moment of quiet to reflect—and maybe sneak in an extra slice of pecan pie. Turns out, a little downtime can work wonders for perspective. (5) Gratitude fuels what’s next. Next week, it’s all about KS&R’s “Week of Working Together.” Seeing everyone in Syracuse? The perfect way to spark fresh ideas and start the new fiscal year 🚀 BONUS: Expect a lot of posts 😉 Here’s to family, teamwork, and a week full of silver linings (even if it didn’t include stuffing). Better understanding. Better decisions. That’s KS&R.

Reflecting on the Season of Recognition In recent days, my feed has been buzzing with incredible posts showcasing achievements, awards, and recognitions from FY 24. It’s truly inspiring to see so many people celebrating their hard work and success during achievers' nights and other events. Each post is a reminder of the effort, dedication, and resilience it takes to reach those milestones. Behind every trophy and every title is a story of challenges overcome, goals exceeded, and teams united. At the same time, these moments also encourage reflection: What lessons did the past year teach us? How can we channel this energy to set even bigger benchmarks for FY 25? Most importantly, how do we recognize and celebrate every effort, whether big or small, that contributes to collective success? To all those who’ve achieved their goals and received well-deserved accolades—congratulations! 🎉 You are an inspiration to many. And for those who are still striving—keep going; your time is coming, and your hard work will pay off. Here’s to continuous growth, new opportunities, and more reasons to celebrate in the future! What’s been your proudest moment of FY 24? Let’s share and celebrate success together! 🌟

Receiving recognition at work! 🥰🥰🥰 It helps. Receiving recognition from family, friends and loved ones. It helps. Receiving recognition from colleagues, coworkers, former peers. It helps. Receiving recognition from random people from who knows where or what. It too, does help. Finding the time to give recognition when it can be so simple and effortless. Believe me. It’s appreciated. Always. Maybe it will take time for it to process, but most of the time, it will immediately help.
