I laid 4 patio slabs once. Now I'm a landscape gardener. You have to have your wits about you on the pages of social media. Experts in a whole host of industries a plenty, all seeing who can shout the loudest in an attempt to secure your pennies. But what makes them an expert? 👉 Qualifications? Not likely. 👉 Experience? If you count 4 slabs as experience. 👉 Bravado? That's more like it. In the spirit of balance, let me break down what you get when you work with us. A bloke who had a story to tell, and a decent understanding of how people use LinkedIn based on observation and effort. I also have 12 years digital marketing experience and was a bloody good tea maker. In the last 19 months, I've become a much better writer, and a much better business owner thanks indirectly to our incredible clients. I have always been pretty good at putting a strategy together and delivering a brief. I know a lot more than all of our clients when it comes to this platform, but there are people that know more. I am about as anti-corporate as it gets, so banter is non negotiable. Get to know the person you're investing in, beyond the front and BS. Stay Unconventionall.
The speed at which some people become experts on here is dizzying 🤣 I need a new patio... can we talk, Andy?
I like to know more about this tea making skill please Andy Barden. Water before milk or milk before water?
We all approve of the non negotiable banter 😁
When I was in the hotel industry we always used to question CV's in this way' Do they really have 12 years experience or 12 months experience repeated 12 times' Trying new things, in new environments, with new people can often develop your execution as well as technical skills so 12 years experience in one area can often equate to less experience that someone who has moved jobs 3 or 4 times in that time frame. Habits can ruin or even stifle experience and learning. *I tried to hire a Landscape Gardner to lay slabs in my garden once, he refused saying my garden was portrait. 😉
I'm definitely a painter and decorator then 😂
Four slabs? You're practically a landscaping legend! Love the no-BS, all-banter approach Andy Barden!
I think you already know Andy I’m on the same page as you on this subject matter! My only disappointment in working with you was never getting a cup of tea! Who knew you were an expert in that?! 🫖
Well based on this Andy, I'm an expert chauffeur, mediator, personal shopper, gardener, teacher, and probably loads of other jobs! 😂 What I do know if that I know all you need to know about advertising and marketing law, and I am great to work with. I think that'll do me! 😉
I astroturfed my own garden and built my own home office does it make me a builder/gardener...nope makes me an idiot I should have totally paid someone to do both lol! 😂

10moAndy Barden dear Andy I have a gardening story for you to hopefully brighten your day🤔Many years ago, I cleared a rough patch of ground at an ex's house, seeded the bare patch, thinking of a beautiful lawn, got fed up after a week or so waiting for the grass to grow, I got fed up and turfed it[ which I found theraputic, after all the ag of clearing, digging and preparing the patch for seeding] Anyway eventually all the grass and turf grew, it was nigh on impossible to cut as it was so thick, it was like shag pile carpet🤔😊💜🎄xx
