Collaboration and compassion are making possible a one-of-a-kind donation — delivering roughly 30,000 pounds of premium coho salmon filets to some of the region’s neediest families. It could be a model for future donations of this scale. Circle K is supporting the American Red Cross to help local communities as they begin to recover from the Los Angeles wildfires. More than 240 Circle K stores in California, Washington and Oregon will offer 40 cents off per gallon on fuel on January 16 from 4 to 7 p.m., donating a portion of the proceeds from the three-hour event to Red Cross relief efforts in California.
