Plans for the development of a 134-bedroom purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) development on West Park Place in Dalry, Edinburgh have been submitted to the City of Edinburgh Council by Sungate Ventures. https://lnkd.in/gc2H-NAs

According to The Australian Financial Review, the co-founders of Scape Australia, the country’s largest student accommodation provider, are planning one of the country’s biggest build-to-rent developments yet, a $1.5 billion development in Sydney’s inner west.

The Scotsman: Clark Contracts has been appointed construction firm to deliver a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Canongate, by Edinburgh’s Historic Royal Mile. TPG and MELBURG have obtained £75.5 million in development financing from Maslow Capital for a 399-bed student housing project in Bristol. This project will convert the former South Plaza office complex into Bristol's first eco-friendly purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA). The development aims to offer high-quality living spaces with top-notch amenities, targeting BREEAM Excellent certification and an EPC A rating.

Plans for a 399-bed eco-purpose built student accommodation scheme in Bristol city centre have moved forward after the completion of a £75.5m development facility. A £200 million regeneration project in central Middlesbrough has reached a “significant milestone” with the submission of a planning application. Developers iMpeC and Buccleuch Property, working with Middlesbrough Development Corporation, plan to transform a derelict site in Gresham with more than 230 build-to-rent properties, student accommodation for over 400 people and a new hotel in what would “see the biggest one-off investment in Middlesbrough in living memory”. The Conygar Investment Company has received planning consent for additional purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) space at The Island Quarter development in Nottingham. Designed by DAY Architectural Ltd, the scheme will provide 313 beds in cluster flats and 81 single occupancy studios across four adjoining blocks ranging from seven to 11 storeys.

The Construction Index Ltd: Clark Contracts begins construction on a brand-new, five-storey purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in the historic surroundings of Canongate, Edinburgh. This is the second of two forward-funded schemes to be delivered by S Harrison Developments Ltd in collaboration with Singapore’s Q Investment Partners. The development comprises 76 studio rooms, along with amenity spaces such as study rooms, a multimedia room, a gym, and cycle storage.
