In a few years, we may have AI tools that will ask for requirements much like we create documentation files for any product. This documentation would include all the micro features, design styles, user groups, and user personas. We would simply upload this information, and the AI tool would generate a complete 70-page Figma file, including the prototype and design system. What would our role as designers be then?

If this is my opinion, I would say that a good UX researcher with expertise in UX writing would be needed. Because AI delivers what we give them as a command. If we give them the right user demand and what we want to made, they will give us at least 60-80% of the actual output that we need. After that it will require customization to complete. I think this is the future of UX/UI for years to come. So as a designer, we need to understand that output and also need to have the ability to customize it to make it perfect. It's just an opinion. I apologize if I said something wrong or joking.✌️

this is my personal thought Maybe it's not just about the designer, but about everything Everything that has been created by man till date requires human to run, nothing can run without human, maybe 100 human are needed before, now 50 human are needed, but human are needed and not everyone knows everything. Example In designing a design, not only the design is the main thing, but before designing, there are many types of preparation, there are many things that need to be researched and then a design has to be made, so people are needed behind them.

Currently it's nearly possible. I designed a full layout and UX using ChatGPT. It's given me the whole product documentation and the draft layout for the designs. And it's just need some retouch on the document and design side. But it fails to understand human emotion and think like human. It was just giving all logical possible things on the UI. May be it will think like human in near future.

From my point of view, Clients don’t care about the designs, they want the results. No matter how you give the results. It's a core insight you know very well. Relationships matter the most. Clients come looking for big things but they want simple things.

In my own thoughts, I think there would be many products that would look similar (AI generated), which at the end would still require the touch of a real designer…

I think to tackle a world 🌎 in near future we have to be all rounder forgetting the famous idiom of old time ''Jack of All trades Master of Non'' the new would be ''Jack have to be the the Mater of all trade or just be among non'' in the this AI Era

Still creative designers dont need to worry about that. As AI is a machine and generated output will never be as human generated. keep learning, improve your skills, be creative. That's it. Nasir Uddin

So true Nasir! That will make the tool so much better, but a designer's creativity and intuition will always be valuable.
