Check our new DUB40 drive unit. The big brother of the successful WI 30 series used to smoothly move objects, props and scenic pieces on flat surfaces through pre-programmed cues. Infinite constellations and wagon combinations are possible. But for moving the real big stuff we now developed the perfect modular system to combine drive units by linking frames. With the DUB40 very heavy, huge and large loads can be moved with millimeter precision up to 10 tonnes per drive. The moving audience grandstands for the famous ‘immersive musicals’ of the Studio 100 pop-up theatre Puurs Belgium are a nice illustration. Very impressive when 8 enormous galleries (209 people per stand, 28 tonnes empty weight each) smoothly glide in silence, moving left/right, back & forth, parting and seamlessly fusing around a static stage to create new sightlines.
