Get to know Aaron Steffl, our intern in Sales and Business Development. 👇 Aaron is supporting us since August and will soon move on to continue his studies. If you’re a student looking for an internship position, find out more about Aaron’s tasks and about what he valued when working with the copperdot team ⬇ 👉 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲? My priority was to gain hands-on experience in a fast growing business. Joining copperdot with its innovative PCB sourcing approach provided the perfect opportunity. It was rewarding to witness the expansion of the team, the development of our IT-platform and the success in various projects. As an intern, being actively involved in these dynamic aspects provides valuable learning opportunities. 👉 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀? The reliance on individual autonomy has empowered me and allowed me to take responsibility for my own tasks and develop a sense of accountability. I enjoy our collaborative team spirit where working towards a shared vision is not only encouraged but genuinely welcomed. What I find especially commendable is the approachability of each team member and their genuine willingness to help and share their knowledge. Tsamouris, the Fastener Specialists© At just 12 years old, Steve Jobs 🍎📱 displayed the tenacity and curiosity that would later define his iconic career. Living in Mountain View, California, Jobs took a bold step that would change his life forever: he cold-called Hewlett-Packard's co-founder Bill Hewlett, hoping to secure some leftover electronic parts. To Jobs' surprise, Hewlett not only answered the phone but also took the young man's request seriously. Amused and impressed by Jobs' initiative, Hewlett offered him an internship at Hewlett-Packard, where Jobs spent the summer working on the assembly line, putting nuts and bolts together on frequency counters. "He got me a job in the place that built them and I was in heaven," Jobs recalled in a 1994 interview. This early experience exposed Jobs to the world of computers manufacturing, laying the foundation for the founding of Apple Computer Company on April 1, 1976. Jobs' story serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of asking for help and seizing opportunities. "I've always found something to be very true, which is most people don't get those experiences because they never ask," he said. "I've never found anybody that didn't want to help me if I asked them for help." This philosophy of asking for assistance and being unafraid to reach out to others would become a hallmark of Jobs' approach to life and business. It was this same boldness and determination that led him to co-found Apple, revolutionize the personal computer industry, and transform the way we interact with technology. At Tsamouris, we draw inspiration from visionaries like Steve Jobs, who demonstrate the power of curiosity, initiative, and the willingness to ask for help. Just as Jobs' early experiences with assembling bolts and electronic components laid the foundation for his future success, we understand that every component, no matter how small, contributes to the development of innovative and groundbreaking products. Marketing & Product Management Executive | Business Strategy | Corporate Communications | Customer Advocate | Employee Mentor
I had the pleasure of spending time and making a presentation to our class of 2024 summer interns at LG Electronics North America. The purpose was to share my career journey and share my roles, responsibilities, and experiences. I wanted to leave them with valuable advice that was passed on to me early in my career, as they begin their journey in the business world after graduation. 1) Your career isn’t going to be defined by one job. Don’t stress, you will find your rhythm 2) Ask questions…knowledge is power for making informed decisions and shows people that you want to learn 3) Don’t be a keyboard warrior – get off your chair and have a conversation 4) Be comfortable….being uncomfortable. Adversity will make you more confident 5) Have a plan when tackling a project and share it with stakeholders before you implement. Clearly state your objectives, desired result, set KPIs and success metrics. Get their buy-in! 6) Mistakes happen – embrace it, own it, and learn from it 7) You're not going to like everyone you work with, and they may not like you. However, you need to learn how to work with each other 8) Participate in a 401k financial program from your employer on your start date - max the contribution #LGElectronics, #LIFESGOOD

Beware: Extremely friendly team ahead... Care to know why people enjoy working with us? Robert from R&D opens up. Read the interview below: FBGS Three months have passed – or a hundred days – since you started at FBGS. How would you summarize your work and life in the company? Robert “Challenging, friendly, fulfilling. Back to the beginning. As the vacancy was published it felt like the only thing missing on it was my name. It matched my skills, my expectations and the accomplishments I wanted to achieve. But more importantly a friend recommended the company. So, I applied and accepted the position. A few weeks later, I knew that joining FBGS was the right decision: The company is flexible, the team is extremely friendly and focuses on long-term goals.” FBGS What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far? Robert “I regret a little that the training time with my predecessor has been so short. I wish we had some more time to go over the projects. But at the same time, I realize that sometimes you do not have the privilege to even meet the person. Figuring things out on my own or together with the team belongs to the challenges I had to overcome.” FBGS What was the most unexpected you have experienced so far? Robert “The team event in March took us to the kart track. At the end of the sessions and race, I was declared second fastest driver! Unexpected…” Does this motivate you to join as well? We are still looking for colleagues in Jena!
