Rather than focusing on the outcome, which is rooted in statements like "I have to cover all these questions" or "I have to get the final answer right", frame things a little differently by thinking about the process. Process thinking is about the small steps, small habits, and small actions associated with getting the task at hand as complete as it can possibly be.
Process thinking isn't about finishing everything in one session. It's about doing your very best to ensure you have the right environment in place to allow you to stay focused for an hour as you study one topic at a time and one practice problem at a time.
Process thinking isn't about getting the right answers. It's about struggling, making the necessary mistakes, and learning from these mistakes as you sequentially solve a practice problem.
Process thinking isn't about passing the FE exam. It's about doing the small things right. It's about allocating a tiny bit of time each day to study for your exam as you gradually build the right study habits, discover new knowledge, build your problem-solving skills, and ultimately build your confidence to give this exam your best shot.
Let go of the outcome. It's the process itself that will get you that passing score.
