I joined Levata Human Performance in June this year because I was ready for a meaningful change. I knew the founders and several of the early team members from my early consulting days. In 2020 Shelia, Kurt, and Amy wanted to create something different—a consulting firm for people, deeply rooted in radical transparency, positivity, and purpose. Having spent a decade in this industry, it’s inspiring to see a firm so dedicated to it's values, living them in every way. Levata is all about elevating people through human connection and respect. When we are brought in to help clients transform their organizations there is great care and collaboration to truly understand their unique challenges and goals. At Levata, we partner with clients to navigate complex transformations, whether that’s helping them realign their strategies, optimize processes, or cultivate a culture of trust and inclusion. Our work often involves coaching leaders to inspire and empower their teams, establishing frameworks that prioritize employee well-being, or designing change management plans that build resilience across the workforce. We focus on embedding values into every initiative—whether it’s improving operational efficiency, embracing technology, or shaping an inclusive, supportive work environment—so that these transformations are not only impactful but sustainable. It’s not just about implementing solutions; it’s about empowering clients to foster long-lasting growth and a positive workplace culture. I’m proud to be part of an organization that approaches every project with integrity and dedication, where our growth is driven by the impact we have on the people we serve. Seeing how we continue to expand while staying true to our core values reminds me why I joined. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be on this journey with a team that is as committed to making a difference as I am.
The Denver Business Journal just released their 2024 results for the Fast-Growing Denver-Area Private Companies at an event at the Denver Zoo last week. LEVATA Human Performance had many of our colleagues in Denver attend and learn about who is making waves in the Denver area. This event provided a unique opportunity for our team to network with other innovative businesses and gain insights into the dynamic market trends shaping the region. As a 100% virtual company, opportunities to get together while celebrating other local companies highlights Levata's commitment to staying at the forefront of industry developments and also reinforces our dedication to fostering strong community ties in Denver. By engaging with like-minded professionals and potential collaborators, Levata Human Performance continues to enhance its people first approach and pay it forward. And in this case, we even collected a little candy along the way! #FastGrowingCompanies #DenverNetworking #CommunityEngagement #BusinessGrowth #LevataHumanPerformance #DenverBusiness

My 2025 resolution is to celebrate the small things more. So now that I’m halfway through my first week back at work, I wanted to share my top four personal highlights of 2024: 🤓 Merging my 2 interests: Marine conservation and geek culture Throughout the year, I created a few articles that tried to show how ocean conservation can be fun if you get creative. From what species would make great Team GB athletes in the Olympics to how Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein can help us understand our perception of shark movies. However, my favourite was writing a blog about the marine animals that inspired First Generation Pokémon. If you’re into marine life, nostalgia, or both, take a look! - https://lnkd.in/ea5S6yiE 👕 Becoming a Marine 'Model' I stepped in front of the camera for the Marine Conservation Society’s shop! Granted it was less ‘Get the London look’ and more ‘Get the Lobster look’. Check it out with the Save Our Seas hoody - https://lnkd.in/egpAPxAb 📖 Reading and relaxing on vacation After 2 or 3 years on no actual solo holidaying, I finally carved out some time to relax under the sun and devour Chris Armstrong’s A Blue New Deal. If you’re keen to understand ocean politics, I highly recommend it! 🗣️ Building a Niche on LinkedIn Over 120 new people joined my little corner of LinkedIn in 2024! I’m far from being a ‘LinkedIn-fluencer,’ but I’m grateful to connect and speak with others who like what I share and have the same interests. I believe LI should be a place of positivity and fun so a BIG thank you to you all who follow my updates and encourage me to continue to post my blend of geekiness. As we often focus on the negative and forget to remember the good that happens to us, I would also encourage you to celebrate the small things more this year too! In fact, I would love to hear what your personal highlights of 2024 were too! #NewYear #MentalHealth #OceanConservation #2024Highlights

I've shared Laurel (and previously Time By Ping's) mission and Ryan's view of it before, but this is a great snippet on our mission and why we keep working at it. Sanctifying time is not easy, and it goes against everything in our hyper attention driven economy. But our customers, and our employees, have seen huge benefits by focusing on improving how they spend their time, and less on trying to recount it. If you're at International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) this week, come talk to Laurel, and see how we can help you improve how you deal with time.
When our CEO and founder, Ryan Alshak, faced profound loss, it ignited a mission to reclaim time for what truly matters. At Laurel, we don’t just track time; we elevate its value. Our core value is simple yet powerful: Time is finite, and our mission is to make every moment count. We’re transforming how work values people, ensuring each moment is meaningful. #LaurelValues #TransformingWork #HumanCentricDesign
