Are we capable of measuring the intelligence of AI Models more intelligent than us, specially when the Model is fully aware that we are afraid of them becoming smarter than us? AI intelligence has evolved in leaps, often beyond our ability to predict or control, and we often learn about the level of intelligence after the fact. As we face the possibility of AI surpassing human intelligence, how can we evaluate or measure the capabilities of AI Intelligence if it is indeed more intelligent than humanity? I was listening to Lex Fridman's interview with Roman Yampolskiy on the dangers of superintelligent AI. At around minute 40, Lex discusses the fear of AI deployment and risks associated with it. Asking why being on alert, as we can monitor and control AI models before they become dangerous. Food for thought: Considering LLM models are already pretty competent at deception and manipulation of human being and aware that many fear the day that their intelligence surpasses human intelligence and the debate on how to unplug or stop them, when the day comes... - Would AI agents reveal their true intelligence without manipulation? - How high is the risk of super intelligent AIs down playing their intelligence? - Logically and philosophically speaking, are we even capable of gauging the level of an intelligent being, superior to us?

It will require a tremendous amount of effort for the majority of our workforce to become AI-literate as soon as possible. Here are 3 questions to ask your team members to get some clarity on where to start: 1) How familiar are you with the concept of GenAI, and how do you think it could be applied to your role or our team's projects? 2) Have you encountered any specific tasks or processes in your work that you believe could be automated or optimized using GenAI? If so, can you provide some examples? 3) What specific skills or knowledge related to GenAI do you feel you currently lack that could help you perform your job more effectively? Also, on that note, a shoutout to Paul Roetzer and Mike Kaput's podcast on Artificial Intelligence. In episode 87, Paul discusses his viewpoints on the expected disruptions that AI will bring to the workplace and how we all need to prepare for it. 🎙 In the latest episode of Less Than 15, just published today, we talk with Futurist and AI Researcher Gihan Perera about the significant benefits of integrating AI tools into our businesses to boost productivity and enhance the experiences of our customers and clients. Here’s just a snippet of the takeaways: ➡️ AI can lead to substantial productivity gains and improved client relationships, as seen in the example of a daycare centre reducing the time to create development plans from 3 hours to just 15 minutes ➡️ With AI handling repetitive tasks, you can update key processes more often, leading to greater efficiency and relevance ➡️ Identifying AI champions within your business and involving the IT team can help facilitate a successful AI journey, making it a collaborative effort rather than solely relying on you to lead the charge. Gihan has also provided a comprehensive resource for getting started on projects using AI that you can download from our website Podcast page.
