Think of it as the armor you wear to the Senate of life, protecting you from the financial blows of aging. 🛡️🏛️ So, let's not wait for a soothsayer to warn us, 'Beware the costs of March!' Start your long-term care planning today, and ensure your golden years are spent in peace and comfort, not in a Shakespearean drama. After all, the only thing we want to be dramatic about in retirement is our bingo wins. 🎭🎲 #LongTermCare #BewareTheIdesOfMarch #FinancialPlanning

"I don't want to run out of money." That is the number one question I hear from Christians planning to retire. In this episode, I share 4 factors that may increase or decrease that retirement savings goal. As inflation rises, Christians need to make sure they are saving enough, so once they are retired, they can stay retired. https://lnkd.in/g6B2XdNG

You might not want to think about this one, but our scientists tell us if we carry on the way we are now, the global food system will have completely broken down by the time a child born today hits retirement age. The good news is, it can be solved! The question is, can we be bothered? https://lnkd.in/ey2z3yXG

Fill the Gap between Faith & Finances: Contentment Man, this is a difficult one for so many- myself included! It’s so difficult to be content with what you have if you see someone beside you with something more. We live in a society that consumes everything and is always trying to climb higher. But time after time, God talks about having and being content with enough. Do you know when you have enough? Do you know when you’re lacking? Do you know when you’re in abundance? It’s OK to have a big house! It's OK to have a small house! It’s OK to have nice cars! It's OK to just have 4 wheels that run! It’s OK to save for a comfortable retirement! And it’s OK to have ambition! Basically- It’s OK to have and enjoy what material thing brings you joy- whatever that might be. God is less worried about WHAT you have more concerned with your heart and HOW you use what he’s given you. Are you using those things for Community (Luke 12:15-21)? Are you being generous with what you have in abundance (Matt. 25: 35-40, Lev. 23:22)? Are you loving God and others well (Matt. 22:36-40)? Fill the gap!
