Week 3 Recap: Project Destined Certificate Program in Financial Modeling Fundamentals We thoroughly explored creating a Pro-Forma in Excel during this week's Project Destined Financial Modeling Fundamentals Certificate Program class. This has been an amazing experience, and every lesson has improved my financial modeling knowledge. I'm thrilled that this experience has been so practical and hands-on. During this week's session of the Project Destined Financial Modeling Fundamentals Certificate Program, we learned how to build a Pro-Forma in Excel. This program has helped me build upon my Excel skills while learning more about real estate. In this session, I learned how to calculate the effective gross income and total operating expenses to find the net operating income of a property. I look forward to gaining proficiency in Excel and financial modeling!

During this week’s session of the Project Destined Financial Financial Modeling Fundamentals Certificate Program, we learned how to prepare a Levered Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis and DCFs. What excites me most is how much I have learned in just six weeks of the program and how much I have yet to learn! The hands-on experience structure of this program engrains a deep understanding of how these measures drive real estate investments. I very much look forward to refining my modeling, analytical skills for real-world applications in the future!

During this week's session of the Project Destined Financial Modeling Fundamentals Certificate Program, we learned how to build a Pro-Forma in Excel. This program has helped me to build upon my Excel skills while also learning more about real estate. Within Excel, there are worksheets consisting of Assumptions & Cash Flow, Rent Roll, Sources & Uses, Debt Sizing, and an Amortization Table. In this session, I learned how to calculate effective gross income and total operating expenses to find net operating income.

During this week's session of the Project Destined Financial Modeling Fundamentals Certificate Program, we learned how to build a Pro-Forma in Excel. What excites me about the program so far is that it has helped me improve my Excel skills while also learning about Real Estate. During this week we started learning about assumptions and cash flow, sources and uses, rent roll, debt sizing, and amortization table, and the different uses of each. I hope to keep improving my Excel skills and my understanding of financial modeling.
