Introduced in the Bundesliga during the 2017/2018 season, VAR has given referees a second chance to review and potentially overturn their decisions, resulting in more accurate calls on the field. 👀 Since then, it's been a relentless journey of improvement. 🔄 As of the 2022/2023 season, all stadiums have been equipped with the newest goal line and #VideoAssistTech, ensuring fair play across the board. The result? Up to the 25th matchday, there were 80 interventions by the video assistant, leading to 74 correct decisions on the field. ✅ That's a testament to the technology's precision and crucial role in modern football.
