Parties at the homeowner's expense. I think about all the education offered to the industry and how little education homeowners get. Makes sense to me why CAI opposes bills like HB24-1078. Homeowners better wake up. Las Vegas has some serious issues and rather than putting all the blame on homeowners like the industry does we should be taking a closer look at what's really going on and realizing that homeowners are not the problem. Management companies and the HOA lawyers that protect them and the associations are the ones we should be scrutinizing. It's the management companies and the lawyers who in my opinion, are more like hired muscle for a crime syndicate than legit business entity. HOA's should be about community. Not about profits. Laws need to change to make management companies accountable. It should not take 65 hours to find any documents that a homeowner requests. Thats not a homeowner issue, it shows incompetence by the management companies and a lack of organization. The problem is that this industry has no standards. Management companies do what they want and how they want to do it with little to no consequences for their actions.

Reverse Vending or deposit return schemes are not new but they are about to have their moment in the spotlight in a much bigger way. It's the smaller applications that we see the biggest growth over the next few years. Small return installations, giving much wider access to people to return their waste and get rewarded for doing so.
