A sincere urge to all women CAs, whether you are in practice or industry, do attend this event. Few points to remember when attending- 1) Introduce yourself effectively. Practice a good introduction which explains your role and your work descriptively. This helps in collaborations and talking the conversation forward. 2) Groom well. Your dressing and appearance do matter in such events. 3) Carry a small purse so you are not struggling with moving around and meeting people. 4) Do not stick to talking to limited/ a group of women. Meet new people. 5) Collect visiting cards, but most importantly send messages to them post event. Ask for a targeted meeting. 6) Have a set agenda and ask people to get you introduced to a target audience. 7) Above all, enjoy. Women networking events are rare.
