This study used LungQ BA, VERA and mucus plug quantification to assess airway and lung changes at the segmental level before and after ETI therapy. The results show clinically relevant reductions in bronchial wall thickness even at the segmental level, in LAR, and in mucus plugs for the whole lung, with considerable heterogeneity in response between segments.
