#Kickboxing is a high-intensity workout that combines martial arts techniques with cardio and strength training. As you punch and kick the heavy bag with a combination of striking and defensive manoeuvres, you're releasing pent-up energy and tension, releasing endorphins, stress, and boosting self-confidence. As you are constantly moving to the rhythm, hand-eye coordination is critical thus improving your cognitive function, focus, and concentration as you keep practicing those kicks and punches. You get a full-body workout with kickboxing, adding more power as you punch or reducing intensity depending on how you feel. Kickboxing empowers an individual, improves your self-belief and inner strength. Kickboxing can also act as a form of therapy, as you punch your way to a boxing high.
