Winter offers unique opportunities for staying active despite the colder weather. And if you’ve ever shoveled snow, you *know* what an intense cardio workout it can be! To safely do each of these activities, you need to have strong muscles, heart, and lungs. Here’s some advice to help you avoid getting really sore, super-winded, or even injuring yourself - rather than jumping right into your winter activity of choice, be sure to put in some prep work with proper cardio and strength training, as well as some stretching.
