Checking the pot for a piece of meat. You select a nice piece for yourself. You are happy with your choice and can't wait to eat it. You dish out your rice or nshima, ready for your first big bite. Then you take a closer look! Your meat is all fat😟Just a small piece of meat on the side, the rest is just fat! You did not see that because it was covered in gravy (soup). So you go back to the pot and make your 2nd selection.Except this time, you are more careful when doing the selection, you examine all the sides to make sure it is really what you want. The power of a lesson.it helps you do better the next time.

Are you sick of plain avo on toast? Try this instead 👇 Smashed edamame & peas on toast 🫛 (serves 2) 90g shelled, frozen edamame, defrosted 90g frozen peas, defrosted ½ avocado Handful coriander leaves & stems, finely chopped 1 lime, zest and juice Smash together all ingredients (or add to a small food processor) until it resembles a chunky dip. Toast your bread of choice and add your toppings. We like a bit of chilli oil, pickled onion and a tablespoon of hemp seeds. What else would you add to this?

Perfect scrambled eggs 1. Heat your pan on low with oil. (I use avocado oil spray) 2. Crack your eggs in the pan. 3. Add salt, pepper and cheese. 4. Let the eggs cook until the whites turn white (basically you are letting them start to cook like a fried egg) 5. Then you scramble the eggs in the pan. 6. Let cook both sides until fluffy. 7. Serve to your taste (my son likes them with ketchup, my wife with avocado) Please note: this worth beat with just a few eggs. I have been making scrambled eggs nearly every morning since my son has been eating solids. During that time, I have been experimenting with different methods of making scrambled eggs. This is by far the best method that I have found. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
